ST GDT - Toronto Blue Jays @ Minnesota Twins - Happ vs. Corria - 1:05 PM ET

60 13.2

65 10.4

70 7.7

75 4.9

Should have noted I'm assuming average BsR here. (He had -2.1 in his SSS last year).

Thanks for the numbers. A 70 wRC+ is also a guaranteed 1+ WAR.

You can't stop the vaunted Twins' AAA/AA offensive juggernaut, you can only hope to contain them by giving up 4 hits in 1.2 IP.

Two weakly hit infield hits and a shallow fly ball to right that Wilson lost in the sun. If you are going to talk, then know what you are talking about. Keep talking out of your ass, it looks good on you.

Yep, his fingers keep typing, and useless drivel pours forth.

I expect him to be in the 75-80 wRC+ this year assuming reasonable playing time. We'll see.

Who are we talking about here??

2+1=3, not 4. Apparently my ass is better at math than your eyes are at seeing and your mind at thinking. And it looks damn good in these jeans.

However epic that line may be, I think he was admitting that one of the hits was legitimate. Awesome line though lol

Pete Walker has nothing to do with the struggles of the rotation last year.. injuries are more the reason.

When Arnsberg was here, everyone got injured too, but at least they pitched well before getting hurt. Practically everyone regressed last season save for Mark Buehrle, and every starter (healthy or injured) was giving up taters like it was 1998 again. I'm not saying it was entirely Walker's fault, but it happens with this organization all the time. Aaron Hill was terrible for two seasons here, then spends 45 seconds with Don Baylor and turns into a 5 WAR player overnight. This coaching team needs to be held accountable, especially if they wanted to scapegoat Chad Mottola (who appeared to actually do well with some players). Walker has no business being on this team after last year. Pitchers continue to regress under his watch.

Just catching up on the box score. I see the mighty Happ-McGowan-Drabek triumvirate has struck again. AA must be sweating balls right now.

Not exactly, in my opinion none of them will make the rotation to start the season. I think if Rogers pitches at all well in spring training he deserves a shot at the rotation ( over Happ and Redmond ), and barring injury or performance issues they'll likely give Hutch a shot to start the season. I like Rogers durability in this mix of often injured pitchers, and why not Happ as the long relief man in games they need someone early. Let them pitch their way on or off the team in April. Redmond and Stroman are in the mix at some point as well, and spring training could flip the decisions on April rotation for sure.

I fully realize the Jays seem to like Happ as the 4th guy but it could all be bs.

I'm hoping that two of Morrow, Hutch, and Stroman are in the rotation at the all star break, and we only ever need to use the best of Happ/Rogers/Redmond in more then spot duty. If we fall well short on this but are still in contention, we can trade for one starter. Or add Santana now as I was hoping for quite a while back.

My God since Pete Walker has been here SP have not performed to expectations at all. Even young guys coming up just can't seem crack through. Maybe it's not his fault, but after seeing Arnsberg get the most out of some pretty bad pitchers for years, it is pretty frustrating to see Walker still around. It seems our pitchers get worse each season.

I see what you're saying, but realistically, what can Walker due with a 90 year old trick pitcher, Mark Buehrle who is what he is, scrubs like Rogers, Ortiz, Laffey, Wang ... and then a ton of injuries to Hutch, Drabek, Johnson, Morrow? When those guys are healthy and pitching, we'll see what Walker is actually capable of doing with their development.
