theblujay Verified Member Posted July 13, 2013 Posted July 13, 2013 jays = raptors But the Raptors have a good young player and a good GM
8D Verified Member Posted July 13, 2013 Posted July 13, 2013 Where's all the people who said the O's are a fluke and will be trash this season? they turned their luck into chris davis.
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted July 13, 2013 Posted July 13, 2013 No no, they were a fluke last year. This year they have an historic season from Davis carrying the team
TheEndIsNigh Verified Member Posted July 13, 2013 Posted July 13, 2013 Where's all the people who said the O's are a fluke and will be trash this season? Same guys saying there is still time, and attacking anyone who is negative on this forum.
8D Verified Member Posted July 13, 2013 Posted July 13, 2013 wtf are the jays gonna do for next season. better hope everyone stays healthy, performs to expectations and hope others break out all coming together at once. nice.
Tuco Verified Member Posted July 13, 2013 Posted July 13, 2013 No no, they were a fluke last year. This year they have an historic season from Davis carrying the team Half the experts on this board predicted they would crash this season..... even some saying they would finish below .500! Chris Davis is hardly the only reason. They have a very deep lineup and play amazing D
leaffie Verified Member Posted July 13, 2013 Posted July 13, 2013 I think this is the most disappointing season of Jays ball I have ever watched. Even last year with all the injuries, there was an excuse. There is absolutely no excuse for this rotation. Disgusting.
JFD Old-Timey Member Posted July 13, 2013 Posted July 13, 2013 Jays are now officially the AL East punching bag now?
Arkadium Verified Member Posted July 13, 2013 Posted July 13, 2013 they turned their luck into chris davis. And Machado

I agree, but the offense has no excuses either, their approach is well, nonexistent.
Hawkguy Verified Member Posted July 13, 2013 Posted July 13, 2013 Buehrle looks like he's going to cry.
Tuco Verified Member Posted July 13, 2013 Posted July 13, 2013 They were a fluke last year. They're a better team this year. I still think their rotation is putrid. And you were telling everyone this offseason that they'd be lucky to even finish .500
8D Verified Member Posted July 13, 2013 Posted July 13, 2013 If AA had any balls he would trade the aging players for prospects n rebuild Sent from my Nexus 4 using Tapatalk 2 You know the only person who used to always have "device tag" at the bottom of everyone of his/her post on the old forum was dogg... hmmm...
Arkadium Verified Member Posted July 13, 2013 Posted July 13, 2013 Morrow injured Lawrie injured, twice Johnson injured Reyes injured Dickey, back issues, etc. Cabrera, hamstring Santos, injured Happ, injured Etc. I'm pretty sure you can use the injury excuse again, if it pleases you
JFD Old-Timey Member Posted July 13, 2013 Posted July 13, 2013 They were a fluke last year. They're a better team this year. I still think their rotation is putrid. not as putrid as the poo jays
8D Verified Member Posted July 13, 2013 Posted July 13, 2013 Yup. I didn't expect Machado and Davis to combine for 15 WAR this year. I have no problem admitting this. I'm sure there must have been maybe one or two more ppl who thought the same. Just a hunch though.
Arkadium Verified Member Posted July 13, 2013 Posted July 13, 2013 And you were telling everyone this offseason that they'd be lucky to even finish .500 Let's be honest... O's scouting dept. 10x better than BJ's scouting dept.
Arkadium Verified Member Posted July 13, 2013 Posted July 13, 2013 Bautista put the socks back on idiot
JFD Old-Timey Member Posted July 13, 2013 Posted July 13, 2013 this team is made of poo and there are still people that say it doesn't stink lol
Arkadium Verified Member Posted July 13, 2013 Posted July 13, 2013 Jose killed us tonight (and Buehrle)
Tuco Verified Member Posted July 13, 2013 Posted July 13, 2013 6 games under .500 going into the AS break looks realistic
Arkadium Verified Member Posted July 13, 2013 Posted July 13, 2013 Buck Showalter probably feels like he's on a beach in Mexico right now
Horses Fart Old-Timey Member Posted July 13, 2013 Posted July 13, 2013 Buck Showalter probably feels like he's on a beach in Mexico right now LoL. How could he not.
leaffie Verified Member Posted July 13, 2013 Posted July 13, 2013 I agree, but the offense has no excuses either, their approach is well, nonexistent. I am not one who thinks it is all the manager's fault. But for years now, the Jays are a team of no discipline. They stand and watch strihes down the middle, constantly swing at balls out of the zone, run into outs and make some of the stupidest errors. They are a .500 club because for years they have had a HR or nothing mentality. And with this team it is not working.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted July 13, 2013 Posted July 13, 2013 not as putrid as the poo jays Dude, let's not cloud our eyes with hatred towards our own team, the O's rotation is absolute garbage, ours is miles better if the pitchers were only performing 75% of their usual (Johnson, Dickey for example).
