  1. Common man, It's SPRING TRAINING!
  2. He's been screwed up his entire time with the Jays. Cant square the ball up, tons of weak contact, tons of K's. Sucks but it looks like his bat is toast.

Ya Powell is legit. I hyped him up 3 months ago saying he was like a poor mans DWade. Very similar measurements, athletic freaks, good handle but it looks like Norm could become a way better outside shooter. Not saying he'll come anywhere close to Wade but they have similar gamestyles.
  4. Tulo's bat looks done. He doesnt hit anything hard, pops up consistently and K's a ton. Dude was my favorite non Jay player with the Rockies but calling a spade a spade.
  5. Tulo cant square up a ball to save his life. We aquired a broken player.
  6. It really does look like he's massively declined offensively. It's almost a suprise when he actually squares a ball up and drives it.
  7. Of course but that doesnt change the fact Tulo's offensive ability looks to have massively declined which is extremely dissapointing.
  8. Dude cant hit anymore. Lots of weak contact and K's.
  9. It's crazy how much Tulowitzki's hitting has declined. He looks like a .240, 15 HR guy who strikes out a ton going forward.

There's a huge variance when calling someone a "poor mans version". It all depends on how you take that statement. I say it as someone who will stay in the league, possibly be a starter in a few years if things go right and plays a similar style. It doesnt in anyway mean I think he's anywhere close to as good as Wade, hence me saying poor.

Powell is explosive, has a solid handle and extremely aggressive. Sure he needs to improve his distance shooting but these types of players are very valuable in todays NBA. Looks like a poor mans version of D Wade.
  12. This is by far the most "I told you so" message board I've ever seen. Half this board hates Sanchez so dont expect them to give the guy any credit.
  13. Sorry but this offense hasnt looked all that elite this postseason. It's becoming pretty clear the gameplan going around is pitch the Jays to the outside and let them beat themselves. Sure you'll get a night where it goes all right and you put up a 10 run game (ex Cueto) but then you'll also get games where guys like Young or Volquez or Gallardo totally shut you down. It almost reminds me of a fastbreak NBA team where they kill it offensively in the regular season with a certain style but once the playoffs start and the game becomes halfcourt, said team struggles to generate offense. Whats the last champion team to not even have 1 above average LH'ed bat. Yep thats right. This roster that involves this AMAZING offense doesnt have 1 single above average LH bat. Starting pitching is abviously going to be a more obvious and talked about need but getting a good LH'ed bat to balance out our top 6-7 is important.
  14. We need both. A quality LH'ed power bat is drastically needed.
