Tuco Verified Member Posted July 13, 2013 Posted July 13, 2013 The way I see it is that if they had played better at the start of the year, they wouldn't have gone on an 11 game win streak so they'd be in pretty much the same position. I think there's a lot of underachieving going on. This is the biggest different between the Jays and O's The O's are basically maximizing and getting basically best case scenario out of every guy while the Jays team is filled with tons of underachievers. The Jays problems run much deeper then just the players on the field. The front office doesnt seem to understand how to put together a strong fundamental team who plays consistant ball.
Horses Fart Old-Timey Member Posted July 13, 2013 Posted July 13, 2013 Love your avatar.............makes this team look even more depressing. True dat! Lol. I think I might change it.
TheEndIsNigh Verified Member Posted July 13, 2013 Posted July 13, 2013 Jones' homerun wasn't a bad pitch. Looked about 3-4" outside the zone and he hit it out. No but Jones already had a hit on a low and away BB. The kept pitching him there despite the predictablilty, and the fact he was reaching and looking outside. Low baseball iq.

Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted July 13, 2013 Posted July 13, 2013 That might be the highest infield pop fly to go for a single that no one lost in the lights that I've ever seen.

I agree, but would include the coaching along with the front office. I think it was obvious that this team was unprepared to start the season, it seemed obvious to me since the opening series and they just let them be.
DH12 Verified Member Posted July 13, 2013 Posted July 13, 2013 baltimore tampa and yankees lead the majors in fewest fielding errors. Jays have almost twice the fielding errors of these teams
