Hey, they didn't give up the other 1st to get him... so I guess that's ok? 2nd round picks are usually worthless anyway.

 

yeah best you get out of a 2nd is a guy like PJ Tucker

don't understand this comment, what arent you a fan of?

 

The guy plays great defense, doesn't suck up shots on offense but can score. Is actually big enough to guard guys like Lebron. Seems like the perfect backup SF

Don't like him because he kicked my dog a few years ago.

Yeah Tucker will be a rotation piece down the stretch and we already have 7 players on rookie deals + have all the original first round picks. Everything was dealt from surplus

So Magic's first trade now he's in charge of the Lakers is Lou Williams to the Rockets for Corey Brewer and a 1st round pick.

 

Not sure I particularly like this for the Rockets when Eric Gordon is already there as the 6th man, and his role is mainly to shoot the ball.

 

Louis Williams is a stud though signed through next season and the Rockets really were only playing 3 guards, kind of unusual for a team that plays small with a 3 guard lineup at times. For a low first round pick that's not bad. Shedding Brewer's dead weight helps too.

Yeah his offense isn't great but it's not a complete drag and he's effective at guarding 2s, 3s and 4s.

Do we really need him? I don't see him being much better than Cory Joseph.

What kind of offensive sets are these? Everyone is just standing around.

 

Yeah I don't get it. The entire league is moving towards quick possessions that go to the rim, ball movement and threes and the raps are going the other direction, even though Lowry is the exact type of player that could run that type of offense.

 

Their possessions are like 18 -20 seconds the vast majority of the time with minimal movement and mid range jumpers. That just won't get it done.

Raps are a deep, legitimately talented team. There is no excuse for this.

 

Brad Stephens probably gets 60 wins out of this Raptors team if he was our coach. So many great off the ball screens and ball movement from the Celtics.

Very clearly intentional shot to the face by Thomas on Derozan there.

 

This game is getting interesting. Too bad half time is coming up.

 

That move mixed with the fact that Thomas used a gun shooting gesture towards Carroll should've gotten him ejected.

Excellent defense in the 4th quarter. Probably the best effort all season
