Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted May 3, 2019 Posted May 3, 2019 honestly wtf is going on with this reffing. I don't know, but it seems to be horrible both ways.

Spanky__99 Old-Timey Member Posted May 3, 2019 Posted May 3, 2019 This reffing, is a joke. He has a gun to his head, right?
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted May 3, 2019 Posted May 3, 2019 Did Kawhi just get a foul for being grabbed and held while he was trying to get open?
Spanky__99 Old-Timey Member Posted May 3, 2019 Posted May 3, 2019 Did Kawhi just get a foul for being grabbed and held while he was trying to get open? Yes.
Laika Community Moderator Posted May 3, 2019 Posted May 3, 2019 Did Kawhi just get a foul for being grabbed and held while he was trying to get open? nah man good people on both sides
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted May 3, 2019 Posted May 3, 2019 nah man good people on both sides I've watched a lot of the playoff games for all teams this postseason. This hasn't really felt biased to me this game, the NBA simply has changed what they consider to be a foul. It's frustrating as a fan because stuff that's always been called no longer is. That change is not to our advantage based on the way we play, but it isn't just happening in our series.

There are like three phantom calls against Toronto this game. The flagrant against Ibaka was trash. The dick punch by Simmonds wasn't even called. Then you can get to all of the normal fouls by Philladelphia that aren't being called (what you're talking about).

Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted May 3, 2019 Posted May 3, 2019 Reffing is one sided Abom??? I still think it's fine this game, at least with regards to how all the games are being called. The NBA needs to decide in the offseason what a foul is going to be going forward though. Having guys inside get murdered with no call is ********, but it's happening across the league.

All home teams in America. Raptors never .
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted May 3, 2019 Posted May 3, 2019 I think I like annoyed Kawhi even more He's taking over.
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted May 3, 2019 Posted May 3, 2019 I really don't understand why teams let guys roll the ball up the floor in a short clock scenario. That's the time to pressure them even harder.
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted May 3, 2019 Posted May 3, 2019 Well, at least we're seeing some emotion from the guys.
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted May 3, 2019 Posted May 3, 2019 That was just an awful (non) call. Better take the next 9 minutes to figure something out for game 4 guys.
Spanky__99 Old-Timey Member Posted May 3, 2019 Posted May 3, 2019 I want to punch Iverson in the mouth, lol.
Horses Fart Old-Timey Member Posted May 3, 2019 Posted May 3, 2019 lol... f*** this game. I love the Raps but I f***ed off when it was 70-55.
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted May 3, 2019 Posted May 3, 2019 Time to get the rest of the starters out.
glory Old-Timey Member Posted May 3, 2019 Posted May 3, 2019 It's not the refs fault. Other than Kawhi and Siakam, no one else on the team can create for themselves now that Kyle is a combination of past his prime and "Playoff Lowry". I think if the Raptors win game 4 then they'll win the series, but it's not looking good right now. I really wish Masai could have traded Lowry either after he traded DeMar or at the trade deadline. If they lose this series and Kawhi leaves, he'll have wasted the team's best shot at making the finals by riding with Lowry too long. If Siakam didn't develop this year the Raptors would have been swept in this series. They lucked out.
Carlos Danger Old-Timey Member Posted May 3, 2019 Posted May 3, 2019 Common denominator.. Lowry.. Should have moved him when we moved Derozan. Not saying in hind-site said it then also.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted May 3, 2019 Posted May 3, 2019 I want to punch Iverson in the mouth, lol. Why, because he's supporting his longtime team in the city that loves him?
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted May 3, 2019 Posted May 3, 2019 The three things I'm seeing (aside from simply not making shots): 1) Guys are taking off to fast break rather than blocking out, and with a team that has the length of Philly you can't do that. 2) Too many passes. We're passing up open shots, and they're playing hard and getting hands in the passing lanes. It's not creating open shots for us, just buying turnover opportunities. 3) Too many drives in the paint. Nothing in there is being called, and they have more height than we do. We HAVE to make outside shots in this series or we're going home.
Spanky__99 Old-Timey Member Posted May 3, 2019 Posted May 3, 2019 How can you play against the whistle Abom?
Spanky__99 Old-Timey Member Posted May 3, 2019 Posted May 3, 2019 Why, because he's supporting his longtime team in the city that loves him? No, not because of that? lol
dineke Old-Timey Member Posted May 3, 2019 Posted May 3, 2019 Down 2-1 is not the end of the world. Those motherf***ers better show up in game 4 though.
