Carlos Danger Old-Timey Member Posted April 28, 2019 Posted April 28, 2019 Hope the Nuggets beat the Spurs and Derozan is golfing next week.
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted April 28, 2019 Posted April 28, 2019 47-34 at the half lol. Not exactly stellar basketball being played.
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted April 28, 2019 Posted April 28, 2019 Was at the Raps game, best bball game I’ve ever been to! Suffocating defense.
Krylian Old-Timey Member Posted April 28, 2019 Posted April 28, 2019 Was at the Raps game, best bball game I’ve ever been to! Suffocating defense. That's what I love to hear. It's the defense that will get us places.
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted April 28, 2019 Posted April 28, 2019 That's what I love to hear. It's the defense that will get us places. Marc Gasol gave Embiid nothing all night, and Kawhi was smothering every wing the 6ers have. Kyle taking charges, Iblocka in full force, Danny Green with his fundamental soundness and textbook closeouts. This defense is scary good and right now every shot Kawhi takes is hitting nothing but the bottom of the net. This actually might be the best all-around Toronto sports team we’ve seen since the 93 Jays. That was a statement game and Philly is thoroughly demoralized. If you read the Philly papers and blogs, they are searching for answers right now. What a drubbing.

Spanky__99 Old-Timey Member Posted April 30, 2019 Posted April 30, 2019 Raps getting rekt here early.
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted April 30, 2019 Posted April 30, 2019 Well, if that's the worst half we have in the playoffs, we should do really well. We played like s*** offensively and we're only down 13.
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted April 30, 2019 Posted April 30, 2019 The NBA really needs to decide in the offseason what a foul is. Guys are getting murdered in the paint and nothing is being called, while a guy outside sneezes on the other guy and gets one. Maybe they don't want inside play anymore, I don't know. It's frustrating to watch as a fan though, because you don't know what a foul is anymore.
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted April 30, 2019 Posted April 30, 2019 There's going to be some really exhausted players after this game. Both teams are playing very hard.
Carlos Danger Old-Timey Member Posted April 30, 2019 Posted April 30, 2019 Our bench fnnn sucks this series. Get the starters back in there!
Carlos Danger Old-Timey Member Posted April 30, 2019 Posted April 30, 2019 Plus nothing from Lowry or Vanfleet..
Carlos Danger Old-Timey Member Posted April 30, 2019 Posted April 30, 2019 Lowry s***ing the bed on shots when it counts..
Spanky__99 Old-Timey Member Posted April 30, 2019 Posted April 30, 2019 Ughhh... missing so many shots.
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted April 30, 2019 Posted April 30, 2019 Lowry s***ing the bed on shots when it counts.. The entire team has been outside of Kawhi. In fact, no Raptor is shooting over 50%.
Carlos Danger Old-Timey Member Posted April 30, 2019 Posted April 30, 2019 5 fnnn points or something from the bench.. We got to within 1 and totally screwed it with subbing and horrible shooting.
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted April 30, 2019 Posted April 30, 2019 5 fnnn points or something from the bench.. We got to within 1 and totally screwed it with subbing and horrible shooting. They're going to have to stagger the bench in, keeping no more than 1 or maybe 2 guys from the bench on the floor at any one time. That unit just isn't playing well enough offensively or defensively to be on the floor together.
Spanky__99 Old-Timey Member Posted April 30, 2019 Posted April 30, 2019 Bah Gawd... what a finish! Godammit!
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted April 30, 2019 Posted April 30, 2019 Damn, pretty exciting finish to the game at any rate.
Carlos Danger Old-Timey Member Posted April 30, 2019 Posted April 30, 2019 Fnn Danny Green sucked tonight!! They should have gone for 2 and the foul.
Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted April 30, 2019 Posted April 30, 2019 Damn, Danny Green's gotta hit that!
Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted April 30, 2019 Posted April 30, 2019 Fnn Danny Green sucked tonight!! They should have gone for 2 and the foul. They got a wide open 3 for a pretty good shooter. What else can you do? At least the team shot like garbage and still barely lost lol
dineke Old-Timey Member Posted April 30, 2019 Posted April 30, 2019 lowry really tried to nutmeg harris with the game on the line...
jaysblue Old-Timey Member Posted April 30, 2019 Posted April 30, 2019 He's just not a consistent performer in the playoffs. Regardless whether Leonard is back or not, I think Lowry is traded this summer. Masai traded DeRozan and JV for the same reasons. He's moving away from the type of team the Raptors had between 2015-2018.

Spanky__99 Old-Timey Member Posted April 30, 2019 Posted April 30, 2019 Although that particular play was ridiculously high risk, he still got the ball to Kawhi whom found a wide open Green, they just didn't make their shots. The D was great again, they play like that through this series they'll be fine.
