Looking for some opinions. Me and a buddy had a discussion last night about the playoffs and i just said that i loose interest because the playoffs are so long (more or less 2 months). Maybe its because i am not really a hardcore hockey fan or what not.

I don't like the new format for qualifying, but otherwise the playoffs are perfect just the way they are.

Would be nice if less teams made the playoffs. However that will never happen. They really can't do anything about it. The quality of play really goes off the cliff if the teams don't get ample rest.

 

They could shorten the regular season or start the year in September but its just how it is.

I had Nashville going to the cup final. That's a very good hockey team when Rinne plays well. I didn't think they would sweep Chicago but I think they come out of the West.
