In arenas, you're typically lucky to get a couple of replays from one angle (which was probably the misleading overhead shot).

I think it matters a bit. 2009 and 2016 are pretty spread out; having the back-to-back would let anyone argue with a solid basis that Pittsburgh was a real Dynasty.

Talk about playing to lose, Ottawa should be ashamed of that OT effort, Anderson deserved better.

 

I dunno about that.. Both teams had some good changes before the goal went it. OT is such a coin flip all it takes is a bounce and boom the game is over. Instead we hear the media and some fans find reasons to blame the team for losing when the reality is it could have gone either way.

 

Crosby and Malkin are 2 of the best players in the world and you could tell just how dangerous they are when they have the puck. A lot of teams struggle when playing against them, not just Ottawa. The Senators just got to within 1 goal of the Stanley Cup Finals with a team that isn't close to the most talented so you can't really talk s*** about their "effort".
