Horses Fart Old-Timey Member Posted May 2, 2017 Posted May 2, 2017 Zaitsev in TO for 7 years at 31.5.
Krylian Old-Timey Member Posted May 2, 2017 Posted May 2, 2017 Zaitsev in TO for 7 years at 31.5. $4.5M AAV is pretty good.
Frag Verified Member Posted May 2, 2017 Posted May 2, 2017 Zaitsev in TO for 7 years at 31.5. I like the AAV, but the term is too long given his age.
Krylian Old-Timey Member Posted May 2, 2017 Posted May 2, 2017 I like the AAV, but the term is too long given his age. Term isn't the best, but he'll only be 32 when the contract is up. Plus that $4.5M should be easy enough to hide if need be...or if he bolts for KHL there are no cap penalties I believe.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted May 2, 2017 Posted May 2, 2017 Crosby has a concussion, as expected.
Frag Verified Member Posted May 2, 2017 Posted May 2, 2017 Crosby has a concussion, as expected. I'd be pissed if I was a Pens fan
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted May 2, 2017 Posted May 2, 2017 I'd be pissed if I was a Pens fan I watched the replay of the game, that was a pretty weird sequence of events. First, ovechkin gives the old 2 hand chop to Crosby as he heading to the net, then his stick clips him in the head and he starts to fall, right into a cross check in the dome. Hope he doesn't have to retire due to this, that's what... 4th or 5th concussion?
P2F Old-Timey Member Posted May 2, 2017 Posted May 2, 2017 This sucks. I'm assuming he misses the rest of the playoffs. I felt like the Pens had a really good chance of repeating this year.

Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted May 3, 2017 Posted May 3, 2017 Nice picks. I had Nashville, Edmonton, Pittsburgh, and Boston as my final four. St.Louis/Edmonton and NYR/Pitt as my final 4. Chicago and Boston screwed me in the 1st round. Nashville look very good.

Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted May 3, 2017 Posted May 3, 2017 Edmundson's a moron. LOL... how did Subban get a penalty there. *smh*
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted May 3, 2017 Posted May 3, 2017 The Preds look unstoppable. Great game.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted May 5, 2017 Posted May 5, 2017 Rangers dominating again tonight, we've got a series.
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted May 5, 2017 Posted May 5, 2017 Rangers dominating again tonight, we've got a series. You know it. Should have won game 2 though. That was awful.
baseballsss Verified Member Posted May 5, 2017 Posted May 5, 2017 I doubt it. Didn't San Jose sing it one year after they booed it?
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted May 5, 2017 Posted May 5, 2017 Didn't San Jose sing it one year after they booed it? I remember the booing, but I don't ever remember hearing that they sang it later. That was 10 years ago so it's possible I don't remember. Us old guys have memory lapses now and again
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted May 5, 2017 Posted May 5, 2017 Didn't San Jose sing it one year after they booed it? No, some tried to drown out the booing to no avail. I was more leaning to the point, that most Americans wouldn't know our Anthem. I do recall the Nashville fans singing our Anthem as gratitude to the fans in Toronto who picked up the American anthem when the singer had mic issues at the ACC. They did it with a Singer helping them get through it, was pretty cool.
havok24 Old-Timey Member Posted May 6, 2017 Posted May 6, 2017 Damn that is a colossal collapse. Blowing a 3 goal lead with a shade over 3 minutes left. Reminiscent of that Leafs/Bruins game 7 playoff game a few years ago.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted May 6, 2017 Posted May 6, 2017 Still a game, though, play for the W. Edit: Oh s*** I missed the end, lol. Yeah bud, that's gross!
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted May 8, 2017 Posted May 8, 2017 s***-show! P.S. My Bracket has been demolished.
spittin Verified Member Posted May 8, 2017 Posted May 8, 2017 Edmonton came to play!!! Went to it, beats any game I've ever been too hands down.
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted May 8, 2017 Posted May 8, 2017 Went to it, beats any game I've ever been too hands down. I was at the Sens-Rangers game yesterday and it was definitely a top 3 hockey game in my life.
