  1. Yeah its a lot to give up but you had to do it. This could be the best chance the Jays have to win the division for the next 7 years so you have to capitalize. Still need a couple bullpen arms.
  2. You hope Bieber is healthy cuz that's a lot to give up if he's not.
  3. Honestly the Mariners look like the best team in the AL right now. That lineup is stacked and I’m not sure a team has a better top 4 in the rotation.
  4. Getting Kirk, Springer and Varsho back is a massive boost though. Even Giminez. If you can get a bat without giving much of anything up, sure but they desperately need pitching.
  5. Good, still a huge problem though. A lot of it is on companies like Toyota/Lexus themselves. They know their cars are stolen more than any others but people will just keep buying them so it actually helps their sales in a backwards way. Yet their tech is so easily compromised.
  6. Was in Vancouver/Victoria a couple weeks ago. Parts of those cities were just as bad as anything I've ever seen. Looked like Zombies walking around with needles sticking out of their arms, tents lining the sidewalk every inch. I guess there they condense all the crack addicts into one area so at least the rest of the city is pretty normal.
  7. Lots of US cities are like that. At least the rich areas are gated communities unlike here in Canada where thugs and criminals steal 40 cars a night from driveways.
  8. Bo really needs a day off. Weak grounder after weak grounder. And he looks as slow as Justin Smoak.
  9. Probably still thinking about the pitch he swung at 10 feet high last night.
  10. Look at the lineup today lol. Ernie who has been terrible against RHP is hitting 2nd in the lineup. Lopefido has played well above his talent but he isn't a leadoff hitter. The catcher isn't an MLB caliber player.. I mean the team only has a +22 RD which is more above average than good. You get Kirk, Varsho, Springer back and maybe Giminez along with a few trades and the team starts to look like it can contend. With a sizeable lead in the division they absolutely need to make a few trades to do what they can to win division.
  11. With all the injuries the reality is this team isn't that good, all teams go through rough patches. If they can make some trades it will look a lot better. Good news is they still have a pretty sizeable lead in division. Yankees are still without Judge too.
  12. I don’t think Schneider is nearly as bad a manager as some make him out to be but his biggest issue is getting guys warm in the pen way too often. Especially in low leverage situations. It’s like he doesn’t understand win expectancy.
  13. He either doesn’t trust him to pitch in leverage or literally doesn’t trust Sandlin with one guy on base and a 9 run game. Both option show he’s delusional lol.
  14. Why the hell is Fisher warming up? He’s their 3rd or 4th best reliever and he really shouldn’t be wasted in a game like this.
  15. Watch JS gets Hoffman warm after 2 baserunners
  16. Was your source a thing called “numbers”?
  17. His swing is just terrible. Until he can make an adjustment on the inner half of the plate he’s going to struggle. He has a decent eye but when you can’t hit the ball hard/ hit a ton of grounders and pop ups it’s a recipe for failure. He raked when he went back down to AAA so you’d like to think the talent is there but it’s starting to look like it might not happen with the Jays at least this season.
  18. If the jays are going to make a serious effort for a playoff spot then there is no way those guys should be on the roster. Both guys are walking over 5 guys per 9 in AAA. Macko maybe you give a shot if you are in a pinch and playing the options game but Kloff numbers are just awful all around.
  19. The thing you are neglecting is it’s better to leave one guy in for 15-20 pitches than to have 3 guys throw 7 pitches. Just because guy throws 5-7 pitches in one outing doesn’t mean it isn’t taxing and he won’t be fatigued in the future. Js also has Little warming up a while which no one even mentioned so that’s another leverage arm that got hot in the pen, who himself has been battling it lately. I agree Rodriguez isn’t some world beater but you have a 5 run lead and Sandlin was available. If you aren’t going to bring him in the game to a situation like that then what the f*** is he on the team for?
  20. Just look at this game if you want evidence of a badly managed pen lol. Not leaving Fisher in.. then bringing Green in with guys on base.. then bringing in Rodriguez in a 5 run game.. That’s 3 terrible moves in one game alone.
  21. lol now he’s warming up Rodriguez? It’s a 5 run lead.. Sandlin should be available after the off day.
  22. The rotation certainly is weak but JS also hasn’t done himself a lot of favours with some of his moves. Both can be true.
  23. I know there was no shot of the Double Play but that was a weak ass throw from Bo. He really just isn’t a SS anymore.
  24. Yeah you cant be bringing in 5-6 pitchers a night. If a guy is pitching well with under 10 pitches just let him face a few more batters. The more guys you bring in.. the higher the chances one of them is going to not have their stuff that night.
