  1. At least Lawrwnce is pitching decent this year and was solid in his start last week. This last week would have been a good opportunity to see what Castillois made of but instead they f***ed that up royally by burning him in relief and then having to send him back to AAA. I don't get it
  2. lol Frasso's season numbers now..... 29.2 IP, 15.78 K/9, 2.73 BB/9, 0.61 ERA, 1.83 xFIP Sweet
  3. Chill, it's baseball. Sweeps are never easy, and after Manoah we've got our two most inconsistent starters going in games 2 and 3.
  4. The Jays don't have to trade Jansen, so if somebody wants him they better make that team pay a premium.
  5. Yeah, they have really been spinning their tires. Of course, a 20 win month in July could change things.
  6. Obviously you can't count on it, but it's going to be interesting to see how those highly touted pitching prospects pan out for the Jays over the next season or two. Frasso, Tiedemann and Zulueta could all be starting MLB games as early as next season. Hell, Zulu and Frasso because of their ages and already having TJS could see time in the Jays BP late this season if the stars align. If even one of them pulls a "Manoah" it will instantly alter the trajectory of the Jays future rotation in a good way. I'm also interested to see what Castillo turns into. He's looked pretty good (other than the first two MLB hitter he faced lol) and has a huge body of MiLB work that says he's a pretty decent pitcher.
  7. The Berrios "horse" isn't dead yet. And with the signing of Gausman and the emergence of Manoah all the Jays need Berrios to be is a steady number 3, which fits right into what he's been his whole career so far save for the 30 or so s*** innings he's given the Jays so far this year that is. I wonder what the cost would be to acquire Thor at the deadline? Probably not much seeing as he's a free agent with no control. Definitely a lot cheaper than acquiring Montas or Castillo. This is assuming the Angels sell.
  8. Groshans OPS down to 0.686 and his wRC+ down to 90 Gross The Jays position player prospect pool looks absolutely barren these days. Moreno in the show Groshans sucking Orelvis is ok but huge red flags The only guy in the upper minors that looks any good is Horwitz, and he is even really a thing?
  9. I dunno, the at bats looked so bad because the pitchers stuff is so damn good and he located it perfectly.
  10. Remember when Merryweather pitched like Adam just did? He was untouchable.
  11. Welp, if you have told me at the start of this 8 games we'd be 4-4 I probably would have taken it, but sucks starting out 4-1 only to lose 3 straight. Jays now play 13 games against the A's, Mariners, Phillies and Royals. Hopefully they can go 9-4 in that stretch but I have my doubts.
  12. Oh shut the f*** up, the Rays didn't let anyone win. I notice you never post when the Jays win. Tool bags like you are the worst thing about internet forums. Always 100% negative ********, never here to celebrate or discuss the positives.
  13. It's not just about the 4 innings or whatever, Castillo has 60+ innings this season at AA, AAA and MLB and has out performed Hatch by a wide margin in every aspect. Starting Hatch yesterday was baffling to say the least, and the results were not surprising.
  14. I still can't believe Hatch was used to start a game yesterday when Castillo was a viable option if he'd been utilized properly.
  15. Every time you think this team is starting to get some traction they either have s*** luck knock them down a peg, or they make a stupid moronic dumbass decision, or both. Today is both. Of course it's one of our starting pitchers who's actually pitching up to his capabilities that takes a liner off the foot, and not one of the inconsistent yo-yo f***heads with a 5+ ERA. And of course it's the Rays that take him out.
  16. What's the next f***ing brainstorm idea? Maybe we should call Bowden Francis back up to the bigs and let him start a game too? What f***ing moronic idiot **** face thought it was a good idea to start Hatch in the major leagues instead of using Castillo as the extra starter? That's what I'd f***ing like to know.
  17. I wouldn't trade any of our catchers unless somebody blows the doors off with an offer that can't be refused.
  18. Hopefully, and he just decided to start one day early because he was extra bad in June lol
  19. Now it's Berrios turn to not be a s*** bag.
  20. Kikuchi April - 7.98 K/9 - 7.98 BB/9 - 5.52 ERA - 5.52 xFIP May - 10.46 K/9 - 3.71 BB/9 - 2.36 ERA - 3.59 xFIP June - 12.91 K/9 - 6.46 BB/9 - 9.39 ERA - 4.92 xFIP Doesn't include todays game.
  21. Well holy shitballs we won a Kikuchi start!
  22. Trevor Richards pitched an inning for Buffalo today, gave up 3 runs and 2 homers. He's cooked Kay also pitched 1.2 innings for Buffalo back from rehab in Dunedin. 2 hits, 2 runs, 3 walks. Jesus these guys are terrible.
  23. Uh oh. Zulu didn't have a good AA debut and came out after only 46 pitches and 1.2 innings pitched. Hopefully not hurt, just getting him out of there because his debut wasn't going great. 1.2 IP, 2 hits, 2 earned runs, 2 walks, 1 K, 46 pitches, 23 strikes
