  1. I wanna be pissed but they had just won four in a row Hopefully they come back with a win today Seattle can f*** right off any time now too
  2. You have got to be f***ing kidding me
  3. Lol at the dummy who kept throwing Biggio change ups haha. Thanks, much appreciated. Keep the train a Rollin Jays!
  4. And it's currently missing Romano, Richards and Green. The Jays have also built up a stable of live young bullpen arms in the upper minors with Pearson, Pop, Zulueta, Francis, Eisert, Danner, Juenger, Cooke, Fluharty and Burnette.
  5. Now call up Barger lol
  6. Feels so good to sweep that crap team. Can't believe they were 0-7 against them before this series. Salvaged the 7 games against the O's and Red Sox with a 4-3 overall record. Well done.
  7. Vladdy is basically replacement level now. I sure hope he's been nursing some sort of injury, because if this is what he's regressed to by the age of 24 then this iteration of the Jays core is probably not going to win anything.
  8. Now that the monkey is off the back hopefully they can get rolling here.
  9. 0 for 7 so far lol Can they finally beat the mighty Red Sox today??
  10. Pop has been pitching in AAA and getting his clock cleaned mostly. Relievers are so f***ed. I thought both he and Bass would play big parts in the Jays BP this year and neither have, yet the Jays BP is actually pretty good lol
  11. lol so much for Barrierra being possibly a better version of Tiedemann. $3.5 million in the bank can really suck the motivation out of a guy I guess.
  12. f***ing useless team. Jesus christ how do you lose this many games to Boston and Baltimore?
  13. Thank goodness they finally won one, hopefully the monkey is off the back now.
  14. Looks like Connor Cooke is closing in NH now. He has a ridiculous 46 K's in just 24.2 IP in AA so far this season, against just 7 walks. His ERA is a little high but he's running an absurdly high BABIP at .481 Just 23 in AA and other than that BABIP he's pretty much owning the level with elite stuff and what looks like elite command as well.
  15. 1-14 against the O's and Red Sox with a -47 run differential I just can't even believe it, it's unreal. Two teams in the entire league might just sewer the Jays entire season lol They are 58-35 against the rest of the league!!! ...and +88 run diff!! That's a 101 win pace.
  16. If Bo isn't out long then Merrifield will need more reps in the OF so it would make sense the Jays didn't add another OF bat if that's the case.
  17. More than anything the jays need their current bats to stop sucking. Vlad, Kirk, Springer and Varsho to be specific.
  18. So when Bo is back they probably move him or Dejong to 2B and Merrifield plays more in LF? That's the plan?
  19. Yeah this offense should be fine, who would have guessed Vladdy, Kirk and Springer would all be ass this year? Plus Varsho too, couldn't even pull off a league average bat FFS Anyways, smart trade for sure. Insurance against Bo being out long term, and now more options for next year too. Svanson had been really performing lately, but the jays system is suddenly stacked with pretty strong relief arms in the upper minors. Guys like Cooke, Danner, Burnette, Eisert, Fluharty, Brock and Jeunger, plus guys like Pop, Pearson, Francis and maybe even Zulueta will figure out his control issues.
  20. What is wrong with Tim Anderson at the plate this year? Would a trade potentially jolt him back to being a 110-120 wRC+ hitter?
  21. Could be out of a wild card spot by the time these next 7 games are done. Crazy to watch a whole season potentially circling the drain because they can't beat just two teams in the entirety of MLB lol
  22. Welp, here we go amirite??? 7 games against the Orioles and Red Sox Jays are 1-12 vs those two teams this season with a -35 run diff Time to slay some dragons (I hope)
  23. lol our closer is hurt, the bullpen is not "fine" when your closer is injured 15 day IL, yeah...we all know how that can go. Hopefully he's back then but 15 day IL can turn into 60 day IL in the blink of an eye And the two pitchers they traded away are lottery tickets FFS. These aren't even really top 10 prospects in the Jays system and the Jays system is middling at best compared to the rest of the MLB prospect pools. Big whoop. Neither guy has electric stuff, and neither guy is really ripping up AA. They're just 'OK' prospects. Was a solid trade.
