  1. As s*** as Vlad has been, sadly he's still got the 3rd best wRC+ of all the regular starters. What a joke. Unreal lol
  2. Cleveland and Washington are sub .500, but they aren't complete duds either. We just lost a series 1-2 to Cleveland a couple weeks ago. After that though, the Jays play 9 straight against the three worst teams in MLB, two of which are bordering on historically bad. If they don't win at least 7 of those 9 games, they don't deserve the post season anyways. Hopefully they can go 4-2 in the first 6 games, and then 8-1 in the next 9 for a 12-3 stretch. Would put them at 82-61 with 19 games left.
  3. I really want to believe that this team is going to "feast" on the soft schedule coming up, but won't be the least bit surprised if they completely s*** the bed. It'll be such a shame to waste what has been an amazing season of pitching and defense because of a bunch of underachieving bats that can't hit with RISP to save their lives.
  4. Still getting K's so that's good, just walking too many and getting hit around a bit. Not worried, it was just always awesome to watch him destroy all the hitters they put in front of him.
  5. Tiedemann with another poor outing.
  6. Love it. What a resurgence.
  7. Richards bouncing back from a rough year last year and becoming a high leverage K guy has been a nice surprise.
  8. If Vlad and Manoah were hitting projections the Jays would be ahead of Tampa and right on the Orioles heels. f***ing sucks. One of these years hopefully the team fires on all cylinders and wins 100 games.
  9. Hasn't yimi been solid for about 2-3 months now after a s***** start??
  10. That is one huge MFing win
  11. Jays playing the Os and the Mariners playing the White Sox Ugh Could be quite a ways back in a few days if they don't get their s*** together.
  12. I thought Connor Cooke must be hurt because he hadn't pitched in a couple weeks, but looks like he's been promoted for the 2nd time this season. Pitched an inning for the Bisons today, 1 K 1BB no runs or hits. Green also pitched again, a clean inning with 1 K, must be about time to bring him up to the Jays now.
  13. WC lead down to half a f***ing game. Wake up Jays
  14. If Vlad, Kirk and Manoah were hitting projections the Jays would be pacing for 100+ wins Hopefully this season is just a blip for these guys. They are supposed to be core pieces to build around.
  15. Zach Pop's xFIP is still just 3.83 in AAA this season, I think he could be OK in the long run still. Tough year for him though, was expecting him to be a mainstay in the Jays pen. Going to be great to get Bo, Richards and Green on the roster soon. If Richards and Green do what they can do the bullpen is straight up f***ing NAILS
  16. I thought Whit, KK and Belt would be nice veteran depth to help put the Jays over the top, I sure as f*** didn't think they'd be 3rd, 4th and 5th in total position player fWAR after 2/3 of the season. With Jansen (6th), Springer (7th), Kirk (8th), Varsho (9th) and Vladdy (11th LOL) in fWAR At least Kirk and Jansen make a strong tandem with 2.7 total fWAR combined so far, and Springer isn't no spring chicken anymore, but woof to Vladdy. Just awful performance from him. The good thing about the Jays line up is that the only regular PP under water is Espinal at -0.2 fWAR so they don't have too many guys sucking the life out of the team. But DeJong....LOL, already a whopping -0.8 fWAR. Impressively terrible so far.
  17. Mariners, Angels, Astros and Yankees all losing last night on a Jays off day was really awesome.
  18. The Rays are 15-21 since July 1st Sample size getting bigger, nice to see them regress from the almost .700 BS ball club they were for the first few months.
  19. Cooke hasn't pitched since August 2nd. Must have gotten injured, hopefully it isn't a "miss a year+" injury.
  20. IIRC the Jays took a run at Freeman two off seasons ago, and also Boegarts last off season. Looking at Vladdy's struggles and the upcoming holes in the roster next season, those would have been great signings.
  21. This f***ing stupid f***ing goddamn team. f***heads lol There, I feel better
  22. Gabby Martinez and Ranier Nunez sure s*** the bed this season, and so has Dasan Brown. Zach Britton was actually having a solid campaign but has been out injured for three months now. I was hoping this group would be crowding the upper minors by seasons end but none of them will see a promotion this year.
