  1. And Biggio Ks can't even get a sac fly useless twat
  2. Lol Vogelbach only gets to 3rd Why is that fat f*** on this team?
  3. Come.on jays let's f*** these guys up today
  4. Let's pile some more runs on Janny Dansen
  5. This is why I have a hard time throwing the noose around Atkins neck so quickly. The guy built a pretty good team but unfortunately he built it around a rotten core. I don't think anyone would have seen that coming in 2021 or 2022.
  6. Can we get a negativity thread???? Lmao Every other fugging thread is negative
  7. Jays were clipping along on (almost) all cylinders winning on pitching and defense, 9-4, had won 4 series in a row and opened up with a win in KC....then Vlad missed a f***ing routine catch at 1st. Since then, 2-8 and all the wheels have come of this old gilopy. f*** you Vlad
  8. Nimmala hit his 2nd dinger today, hopefully he starts to figure low A out In the same game Fernando Perez had 8 K's in 5 innings and Kai Petersen had 5 K's in 3 innings both were sitting 93-94 MPH with their FB's Not bad for 20-21 year olds. I'm sure their arms will fall off soon like everyone else.
  9. Giants would probably be looking to snag Bo if he were made available.
  10. It's like JS went over to the Nationals dugout and asked them which reliever they'd like him to use right now.
  11. I like to think I'm one patient mofo, but what kind of f***ing dunce uses their most struggling reliever in a two run game when everybody is rested? Like, how f***ing stupid do you have to be to make decisions like that?
  12. Hopefully Bargers D was just nerves, the bat too I guess. Like I've said, not every guy is going to hit the ground running like Schneider and Clement
  13. Jansen already with 0.7 fWAR in 10 games. Double positive effect is it appears Kirk is maybe coming around with his work load reduced.
  14. I would try to land some top tier FA's first and kick the can down the road. Might be the wrong call, but there is just too much depth to blow it up without trying to retool the the star power. Plus because they didn't piss away money this off season by panicking (like the fans) they aren't hamstrung with a handful of bloated contracts on the books. If it doesn't work they still have plenty of time to move Gausman and Berrios. Bassitt return probably doesn't move the needle anyways.
  15. Lots could change by July, but even if they decided to punt the season I don't know if a fire sale is what they'd need to do. They just need to move on from Bo and Vlad and retool around what is still looking like a very good rotation, decent bullpen, and plenty of depth. They could also probably get something nice for Kikuchi if he won't extend. Would need to hit some home runs in free agency though. Like one or two of Alonso, Soto, Adames type of thing.
  16. Too be fair he's had 15 PA's Not every guy they call up from AAA is going to hit the ground running like Schneider and Clement.
  17. I'm not judging the front office, I'm questioning the people who continually complain that they didn't "fix" the offense. I never said the FO did a good or bad job, I'm saying from our view point it doesn't seem like there was much they could do with what was available, other than shore up D and pitching and try to help the hitters already on the team rebound back closer to career norms. It hasn't worked so far and it actually looks like some of these hitters have gotten even worse possibly.
  18. Is the expected win loss calculated from run differential? The reason the Jays are our performing it might be because -18 of the -31 comes from just two games where we got clubbed to death by Houston 10-0 and 8-0. Most of the other losses have been fairly close I think
  19. Exactly. "They did nothing to fix the offense" Yeah nothing except go after the only two proven elite bats available, but the chances of getting either was basically nil right from the start. They really didn't have much choice other than shore up the D and pitching and hope Springer, Vlad, Kirk and Varsho brought their bats this season. Well, Varsho did but sadly Bo has negated that improvement by completely crapping the bed this year. The other option was to make things even worse by handing out massive deals to Chapman and Bellinger. Imagine where'd we be now if they'd made that mistake. Screwed this year, and screwed for the next many years too with those contracts on the books. At least this way they are positioned to make a clean transition from the Bo/Vlad era if things don't get turned around this season.
  20. Yes I'm seriously asking what they should have done. People keep saying they should have pulled some sort of miracle out of their asses or given bloated contracts to risky players which likely would have made things worse in the long run.
  21. That's because the 3rd, 4th and 5th best free agents were basically going to be over paid garbage the minute they were signed.
