  1. Ricky with a rough day, 44 pitches only 19 strikes, 4 walks, 1 hit, 0 K's That ain't what you want to see
  2. Who in the front office has thrown up their hands and complained that it's too hard? What are you even talking about? lmao And they did change the plan (it looks like from the outside anyways), after the only real FA bat went where everyone figured he was going they shored up the defense and waited out the DH market, ended up with Turner. They tossed up a hail mary for Ohtani and when that didn't happen they decided not to waste a f***load of money on lesser bats with question marks all over them like Bellinger.
  3. That's f***ing ******** of the Dodgers and their staff. Greedy pieces of f***ing smelly s***. The average person is going to have no idea of the value of that ball and they got her alone and pressured her into giving it up for 1/10th what it's worth. SEE YOU ENN TEE's the lot of them.
  4. I just noticed the Jays are dead last in the league with a 0.196 BABIP That's some pretty bad luck ain't it? Some stat cast guru's please tell me it's mostly bad luck and will likely improve
  5. It does matter. You can't sit there and continuously whine and bitch about the Jays not "fixing the offense" when there was no realistic way to fix it. I mean, I guess you can fault the FO somewhat for not realizing Vladdy is an over rated wannabe with a thimble brain, Springer's offensive trajectory was going to do a cliff dive and Kirk's 2nd half 2022 was just the beginning of the league figuring out how to handle him.
  6. Too bad Parsons wasn't actually good, lol Espino will be the next one DFA'ed probably at some point to make room for RT or YR if/when they are deemed ready for MLB
  7. Yeah, a team need that couldn't be realistically or properly addressed with the pile of s*** options that were readily available so the FO pivoted to make sure they at least had the defense shored up and the pitching wouldn't suffer from s***** defense on the left side of the field.
  8. How do you even know Urshela or Teo would actually sign with Toronto and for the same amount they signed with other teams? That's the problem with you armchair GM twats that think you have all the answers. You think the jays could have just brought in whoever the f*** you happen to think was a better option, no questions asked and then complain that they didn't bring that player in all the while not having a f***en clue if that player was a realistic option or not
  9. lol, geeez, thanks tips, but that's what they tried to do. They tried to create balance. All they did was trade Teo and LGJ for defense and pitching, that's it. Unfortunately nobody saw Vladdy, Springer, Kirk all forgetting how to hit a f***ing baseball at the exact same time that they removed Teo and LGJ. If those bats don't fall off a cliff the Jays are pushing 95-100 wins last season. So they tried to bring in the biggest, and only real free agent bat available. When that predictably didn't work they shored up the defense and are now hoping for a bounce back from those same bats because, going back to my original point......there WERE NO PROVEN SURE THING DIFFERENCE MAKING BATS LEFT ON THE FA MARKET after Ohtani. If this doesn't work they are probably going to have to retool/rebuild this offense going forward, and that should be easier to do without a bunch of s*** bag albatross contracts on the books like the one they would have to have given Bellinger to "land" him.
  10. Big free agents? That's what I'm driving at. Other than Ohtani, the "big free agents" this off season were a mushy pile of crap. So many Jays fans is acting like the Jays FO missed out on a plethora of 5+ fWAR power bats. The next best FA was Chapman and they offered him a pile of cash and he turned them down, how is that the FO's fault? He didn't want to be here. Plus his bat was weak last season anyways. Then there is Bellinger who spent the three seasons prior being barely above league average, so no sure thing to be spending huge money on (even if it's "below market value") and his projections are nothing special anyways. After that there was not one single sure thing they missed out on that we should be real upset about. Soler and his whopping 1.8 fWAR projection for 3/$48 million?? lol
  11. Everybody likes to forget the circus outfield defense that cost us in the wild card series two years ago vs the Mariners. Jays sacrificed some hitting for defense, won pretty much the same amount of games and got swept in the wild card again. If the Jays had kept that s***** D together, won around 90 games and gotten beat because of D in the wild card again the same people would be complaining that they didn't make changes.
  12. They did have their hand in every FA and trade target if you believe the chatter. Other than Soto it was a bunch of crap piled on top of crap and some of it didn't even want to come to Toronto anyways.
  13. For sure but it annoys me that so many people talk about the FO like they sat on their hands. If you believe the chatter they were in on everyone but in the end you can't MAKE anybody sign with you and you sure as f*** don't want to hand out a bunch of s***** contracts to marginal players just because they were the best this weak free agent class had to offer. I do wish they had landed Soto, but that came with huge risk too because you're giving up tons of prospect capital and probably only getting him for one year anyways.
  14. How long is the fan base going to pretend like the Jays didn't try to help the offense this off season? Does anyone remember them throwing $600 million + at the biggest bat out there? He picked somewhere else. You need two to tango.
  15. f***ing weather in Worcester, I want some AAA action at least. Good news is tomorrow is slated for a Bisons double header and also AA, high A and low A all get going too.
  16. Danny Jansen and Joey Votto will turn this MFing offense around! And then they'll get hurt again....
  17. Maybe Atkins is on the hot seat or maybe the higher ups don't find much fault with his body of work knowing there wasn't much out there this off season as far as proven bats goes. They took a run at Ohtani and kicked tires or were in discussions with pretty much every power bat available. If there is good feasible reasons none were brought in Atkins bosses will know whether or not he's to blame.
  18. Man, if the Yankees have their way with the Jays this place will be pure misery to visit. Stroman complete game 2 hit shut out incoming?
  19. Early returns are a little scary. Springer and Kirk off to terrible starts in particular. Bo too.
  20. "This place sucks, waahhh, don't sign up new people, it's a s*** hole, waaaahhhh" *proceeds to make 185 different burner accounts and keeps coming back* Go watch some youtube videos on how to not be a loser and get a girlfriend you pathetic incel
