    They give way too much rope based on past performance. Bo I can see being patient with at this point, he was terrible for the first half of 2022 and ended up with 4.9 fWAR (man we could use a hot streak like that again this year) But holy s*** Springer is cooked. It's June 14th and he's still sporting a .580 OPS and they have three OF's in Buffalo with way better projections than that in Barger, Lukes and Berroa. Barger and Lukes are even on the 40 man FFS And yeah, enough with Mayza already too. Danner is also on the 40 man, let's have a look at him. He got the call last year but immediately was hurt, then a rough start this year. But he's been better lately. Swanson is getting pounded on AAA too, my bet is Mayza would as well.

    Riley Tirotta with a 169 wRC+ through his first 52 PA's in AAA He was promoted after a 156 wRC_ in 73 PA's in AA He's played 9 games at 1B, 2 games at 3B and 2 games as the DH in AAA

    I agree these guys are old and I'd love to see more Bisons brought up. I mean would Barger really be worse than a .589 OPS playing in RF every day? We'd probably lose some D value but it's ridiculous that they keep trotting Springer out there every day.

I got news for you, you can't control whether the Jays are good or not. You shouldn't let things you can't control make you miserable. Or go ahead and do let it make you miserable, whatever floats your boat.

Springer must be just cooked I guess, but JT still had an .800 OPS and 114 wRC+ last year. Vladdy, IKF, Varsho and Jansen all hanging in around career averages.

    This is what happens when you're filling out your roster from a free agent pool that's full of crap. Some of it works, some of it doesn't, and with the benefit of hindsight you can piss and moan until the cows come home every time a performer from that free agent pool hits a dinger.

    Bo, Springer, Kirk, Vladdy... 130 wRC+ for Vladdy with 7 homers and 1 fWAR mid-June is a joke Expecting Springer to bounce back? How about just staying league average? He went from 133 wRC+ to 104 wRC+ to 76 wRC+ Kirk goes from 129 wRC+ to 96 wRC+ to 80 wRC+ Bo's wRC+ over his career, 140 - 120 - 122 - 130 - 125 - 83 Last year we had a drop off for all these hitters from well above league average to league average. People were hoping for them to bounce back but instead they've gotten worse. Would have been nice if they could have at least stayed league average, we'd probably have a handful more wins that way. It's like a nightmare

    I doubt the Dodgers think they can do anything to suddenly make Biggio a 2-3 WAR player. He's just a decent, versatile bench player that won't drain value, he'll hover just above replacement and not hurt you.

    I disagree. Even if they were confident Teo would bounce back away from safeco there is no guarantee he'd even sign with Toronto instead of the Dodgers. I know I wouldn't if given the choice. So in other words he may have never been a realistic option to begin with, at least not without an absurd overpayment. That's the whole point. Lots of options to fix the offense my ass haha
