    Whatever happened to "I'm a Blue Jay"? f***ing douche nozzle lol. Can't wait for him to be gone, to be honest. "I just want to win" while he trots out his sub par play at SS and a sub .600 OPS game after game. Guess what Bo, you're one of the biggest reasons this team sucks right now.

    If Bo's injury keeps him from being traded at the TDL, hopefully he has a 150 wRC+ for the rest of the season. Boost that value for the off season at least.

    At the very least, Vlad showing a pulse might mean the Jays can get a good return for him if they don't want to, or can't extend him. Bo on the other hand, holy f*** that guy is hopeless this year. Worthless on the field, worthless at the plate, and probably worthless in a trade too.

    Schneider, Varsho and Jansen all dying on the vine at the plate, at least Varsho is a stud on D Vladdy really surging now with the new found LA Turner turning it back on now too Springer lol, better late than never I guess Too bad they couldn't have just held it together enough to hover around .500. Just had to have that 7 game losing streak. When the big bats are going you start to believe they could actually get on a roll. Of course, even with the offense FINALLY doing something, the bullpen is in complete and utter shambles now.

    Yeah, IMO the sooner they trade Bo the better. Give Jiminez some reps and see if there is anything there and along with IKF you aren't really missing much with Bo gone. At least not this version of Bo. Then if need be take a run at Adames/Kim in the off season.

    Haha no kidding. It looks like Varsho, Babe and Jansen are already mired in slumps. And Bo has been ass all season. They're all due to get hot again though, and maybe the potential Vlad/Springer hot streaks will be contagious.

Looks like they are 3-9 in their last 12 and have been getting f***ed up on the regular during that stretch. Been beaten 8-4, 9-3, 17-5, 8-1, 9-7 and 12-2 Now this tonight Good, f*** them.

    At the very least you hope the Jays are in there driving up the price for Soto to re-up with the Yanks I don't have much hope he'd sign with the Jays, but trading Bo right now along with every pending FA we have, then landing Soto and Adames in free agency would be a nice way to go into 2025.

    Well of course, Varsho had a rough year at the plate in 2023. Meanwhile the Dbacks went on a run with Lourdes and Moreno. I was one of the few preaching patience. I mean,, even with his 85 wRC+ he was still a 2+ fWAR OFer. Now that he's bounced back it's definitely not the time to continue lamenting that trade, which is what that poster was doing and using batting average of all things to justify it. EDIT: but yeah, I guess I didn't have to be a total ******* about it

    Things weren't terrible as long as they kept winning 90ish games a season and getting a crack at finding lightning in a bottle for the playoffs. But the team falling apart this season combined with a very low rated farm system is not a good look for Atkins or Shapiro. After 8 years of building a farm system that was supposed to keep a steady trickle of MLB talent coming, there is solid depth being graduated right now and more coming. But the high end talent is just not there, and even the high end prospects they traded haven't amounted to much if anything with their new teams. Developing decent MLB depth is one thing, but you need to bring along some star power too, and they haven't been able to do that. Now the stars they did have are all s***ing the bed and there isn't a decent core to even build around anymore. For sure some heads are going to roll. Hopefully the new FO can find and develop sustainable MLB stars.

    I'm glad I'm not the one who has to decide what to do with him. You could sign him to a long term contract and get burned badly (or be happy you did it) You could trade him for a mediocre return and get burned badly (or be happy you did it) I say mediocre return because I don't see a big return for him at this point.

    That's because a certain group of boneheads couldn't differentiate between my defending one aspect of last off season from what my real stance on Atkins and the Jays front office is and then projected that I was some sort of huge Atkins defender. And with these latest comments by you that false projection just gets amplified. Like seriously, how many f***ing times does one need to explain themselves before you figure it out?
