It is extremely hard as a fan during the WS to not want to win game 1, especially at home. However, if we are going to split the games at home you definitely want to win game 2. The most important game to win is game 3. I remember in 92 we lost game 1 but won game 2 and had the momentum. Looking back, very glad it happened that way. 93 we won game 1 but lost game 2. We won game 3. Moral of the story. Assuming we are going to have some losses, would rather see them game 1 then 2 and game 4 or 5 vs 3. -
Ok, I have been MIA on travel and different time zones etc.. I think I have my feet on the ground a little now. Any Gen X guys remember the where's the Beef commercials!? Where is the bat??? Are we assuming that all our guys that have had a quarter positive performance and are journeyman types are going to sustain into the playoffs against the best pitching...

I honestly think Bassitt is going to manhandle the s***** Angel's offence. As long as Bassitt can go 7 + and they have a lead (that's the hard part) then I think the Jays should be able to salvage one game. Even though the Angels have won the last two, that is NOT a good offence!

I might as well find my post from last year and copy and paste. As AA has said and astute baseball people will tell you, to judge whether a team is worth investing in at the trade deadline or sooner is the run differential. The 2015 Blue Jays Team was a few games under .500 or hovering around for the first half of the year. However, they had a +125 run (hyperbole, but it was high) differential or something. As long as this team is averaging -35 run differential it is turd that can look polished at times, but is still a turd! -
The fact Vlad is getting paid as a 1B way more than Bobby Witt Jr is blasphemy.

You have to win games against the Guardians at home when JRam is not in the lineup. These are the kinda losses that end up biting you in the ass in September. Think 2021 Blue Jays.
