  1. For those of you who don't speak Spanish, Berrios covered his mouth with his glove and shouted f***! As he was walking off the mound.
  2. Shapiro on the broadcast saying how much he LOVES Mustachio.. Well, then play the MF on a consistent basis!!!
  3. That TD area behind home plate is going to look very barren when not sold out... I mean more so than normal if the area behind home plate if not sold out. Considering many empty seats similar to these at Yankee stadium, I suspect many nights there will be a bunch of empty seats at the Roger's Center.
  4. Results matter. The fact is we are in last place in the division. The Yankees went into Houston as we did sin Cole, and they kicked butt. Saying if we would have come out .500 would be a success is looking at things in a vacuum. There is no guarantee the 3rd WC will come out of the East this year. I would most likely wager it will NOT. So, just floating around at .500 when our direct competition is not playing .500 is not going to be an acceptable recipe for success. This team, this year, needs to play way above .500 with the improved competition. I just don't see anything different from last year and NO consistency to show this team can go on a long winning streak. Key word and key defect is inconsistency.
  5. Ok, you are talking about offensive makeup. Your post read like outfield defensive positioning had something to do with the run/s.
  6. Soto is arrogant? We need to look in the mirror.
  7. Hope we get the split today! About to take off on a flight to Maui (spring break) so won’t be able to watch much this week. Go Jays!
  8. I really wonder how much the line up card is JS or FO. You have to think the $ paid for IKF just to have him rot on the bench is not an image the FO would be fond of.
  9. Wait until we go to Houston and New York.
  10. Is it me or the Blue and the Jays are not even on Kickuchi’s jersey? These uniforms are so tawdry.
  11. Glad Clement is in there. Still no Mustachio.. Observation: Having Vogelbach in front of Varsho will have the same affect as last year with Kirk. There will be 1st to 3rd opportunities, not tagging on 2b to 3rd because the 3b runner is too slow to go home on a sac fly etc, or double steal that are eliminated from Varsho's tool box when you have a molasses clogger on the bases in front of him. Point being, Varsho is a base running tool, the tool is mitigated or blunted by big V hitting directly in front. Hopefully, big V can get a s*** load of RBIs to make it worth while. Also, you have two lefties back to back then a 3rd after Clement, which makes easy BP management for the opposing manager
  12. No one likes a bad Kuchi..
  13. Unfortunately for the Jays today, fielding and throwing is part of the game of baseball.
  14. The defense didn't exactly help...
  15. Den de doona dena de de duna... (Circus music)
  16. I think we already know how it will go. Uribe for saves, Payamps and the other P (?? escaping me at the moment) for holds. Uribe has the best stuff, but I think he also had some control issues. Unless he blows it, literally and metaphorically, I think he will have the most value due to saves. Payamps after Uribe.
  17. Good win and on the road. Just keep an even keel. Last year we scored 10 runs on the road opening day, Springer got 5 hits for the win and then……….
  18. Detroit makes the playoffs, we don't.
  19. Depends on the crime type. Statutory rape means they will prosecute for violation of the statute regardless if the victim declines to press charges or cooperate as one example. Key factor is level and type of crime.
  20. That is not the end of the sequence though. It wasn’t until a 2nd Terp came into the picture that Ohtani knew what this was all about. The Terp had been fudging the translations. Hence the story switched to theft.
  21. If you read this, from the network that actually broke the stories, it seems to get Ohtani off the hook. https://abc7.com/sports/shohei-ohtani-his-interpreter-and-wire-transfers-a-timeline/14559093/
