  1. Unfortunate Donaldson has been injured all season. Might've been able to package him and Happ together for a really good return. Whether it be the Yankees or the Braves.
  2. Marco Estrada unlikely to pitch his next start according to Pete Walker. Does Sean Reid-Foley finally get the call up?
  3. Griffin Conine hit two HR's today: First one went 447 ft Second one went 410 ft.
  4. Final line: 6IP 6H 3ER 1BB 8K I can’t believe he’s still only 22. Feels like he’s much older than that. Probably a case of prospect fatigue.

I’m still surprised he fell as much as he did. I know his position is a question mark, but if the bat is legit, it’ll play anywhere.
  6. Why? Why not look at the k-rate and walk rate... A-ball: 17.4K% 8.8BB% High-A: 14.3K% 7.7BB% AA: 16.6K% 8.3BB% Not that different between each level. His BB% has actually gone up since moving to AA. His peripherals are mostly the same throughout the levels except that his LD% has gone down to 15.8%
  7. He went 2-4 with a double and HR today. Not too worried. He was always gonna strike out a lot. I still like the pick. Young for a college guy (still only 20 years old) and legit power.
  8. Mariners are dumb.
  9. Eric Pardinho starting today for Bluefield
  10. I don't know about the Nationals. Harper is still struggling mightily, their catcher position is a black hole, Murphy is showing signs of decline, Zimmerman and Strasburg both on the DL, Roark and Gio having down years. No signs of encouragement halfway through the season. The Braves are over achieving, but they can add some bullpen help and pitching at the deadline to help them out. They're legit this year.
  11. Does Zuech get a look in September?
  12. JD Martinez is crushing the baseball this season. .329/.396/.654 with 25HR. Fastest Red Sox player to reach 25 HR before the end of June.
  13. Angel Perdomo today: 5IP 5H 1BB 10K
  14. This Astros rotation is insane
  15. Nah. Hall of very good.
  16. Already won the trade with that Grichuk catch.
  17. Brock Lundquist had a power surge. After hitting 2 HR in 51 games in Vancouver, he's hit 12 HR in 63 games in Lansing.
  18. Noda's June has been insane: .410/.472/.951 with 9 HR That .951 is his SLG, not OPS btw. His June OPS is 1.423. Needs to be moved up to High-A.
  19. Hanley Ramirez being investigated as being part of a Fentanyl ring.
  20. Griffin Conine and Jake Brodt assigned to the Vancouver Canadians.
  21. The Yangervis Solarte deal is a little underrated. Getting a 2 WAR player with 3 years of control for a complete lottery ticket in Edward Olivares was a brilliant move.
  22. Anyone know what happened to Cullen Large? He was having a good start to the season in Lansing. .316/.411/.568 with 5 HR in 27 games. Interesting profile: Switch hitter and versatile (listed as a 3B, 2B, and OF). I love the stress this front office gives on player development. That seemed to be where we were lagging a little behind. Paying off now with guys like Kevin Smith, Cavan Biggio etc. At the same time, they're not messing with players if something is working. Big reason why Bichette said he signed with the Jays. Also like how we're not punting any draft picks. Seem to be getting good players deep into the draft now too.
  23. No one is talking about him because he's hitting .455 through 3 games. Hiraldo is hitting .431 through 17 games now. Much larger sample size, even if still small.
  24. Noda 3-4. Was a homer shy of the cycle.
