    He has a near .500 SLG in AAA. I would disagree that he doesn’t have power. It’s just more gap than home run power. His power will probably play up in the majors too given the balls are different.

    I'd imagine Kloffenstein and Groshons are both Top 10 and Conine probably slots in between 10-15. A guy like Addison Barger might be in the back end of the Top 30. Our farm system is looking really good right now after the draft.

    Small sample size, but Hiraldo’s bat is as advertised so far.

    Joey Murray from Kent State in the 8th round. Stats wise one of the best pitchers in all of college ball, but sits high 80's-low 90's with his fastball.

    Addison Barger with our 6th round pick from King HS, Tampa. #143 ranked in MLB.com and #178 on BA 500. High school heavy draft so far. Planning for way down the line when our Vlad and Bo's of the world are ready to turn over.

    Ceiling is probably 3rd or 4th starter, otherwise he has the stuff the be a good bullpen arm.

    Texas area scout was well worked this draft. Kloffenstein, Groshans, Wymer all from Texas.

    Getting Kloffenstein changes the complexion of this draft. If you're into the rankings, we got 3 Top 50 players according to BA and MLB.com. Pretty good considering our draft pool.

    Give how risk averse this front office is, I highly doubt they would punt a 3rd round pick unless they were positive they could sign him. They probably go way under slot on Groshans, maybe slot or just under for Conine, and use the rest to sign Kloffenstein.

    Gilbert actually has more K, a lower WHIP, and a lower H/9 than Casey Mize. Granted Mize is in the SEC which is the best conference in college, but Gilbert would still be a fine get at #12. I'd rather have him over other college arms that are probably gonna be left at #12. Still holding out hope for one of India, Swaggerty, or Kelenic though.
