Astros also aren't really using Tony Kemp who's 26, and has a career MiLB slashline of .311/.390/.419
Doing well this season in AAA. They need to trade him to some team instead of letting him be blocked by Altuve.
Could Cavan Biggio actually be called up this season if he continues to hit? Him doing this well was unexpected. I know the sample size isn't anything huge, but what he's done is pretty impressive nonetheless. Maybe he could be a good platoon partner for Travis at 2B (Cavan bats lefty).
Vlad Jr. is making it really tough to keep him down in AA.
Bo is doing really well, yet it still kinda feels like he’s underperforming compared to what we’re used to seeing from him.
Jansen is basically major league ready. We’re one Russell Martin DL stint away from seeing him.
If we get Donaldson back next year, our lineup could be extremely scary.
Bichette, Guerrero, Teoscar, Donaldson, Smoak, Alford.
Hopefully blast Morales into the sun and rotate Vladdy and Donaldson between 3B and DH.
Age plus he's a 1B, but I still really like him. When I saw him in Vancouver, his AB's were the most enjoyable. Worked counts to full a lot and also has a sweet line drive swing. Powers beginning to show now too.
I would reserve true judgement on him until he moves up to High-A and AA. Avg age in the league he's in is 21 years, and he's 23.
Same with Ryan Noda. Both need to be at age appropriate levels.
Kacy Clemens: 2/5 with 2HR and a walk. Homered 3 times in the last 2 days. Now hitting .323/.500/.631 with 22BB and 13K in Lansing.
I’ve said before he was the guy that stuck out the most to me when I saw him in Vancouver. But he needs to move up right now so if we can see if he’s legit.
edit:
Noda is intriguing, but you can’t really make any definite assertions about him just yet. We’ll see how both he and Clemens do in High-A. That’ll be a real test.
Before this season maybe Ian Kennedy.
This whole trading Tulo thing is ridiculous anyways. Doesn’t have have a no trade? Highly doubt he wants to move around again.
