  1. I want this one. Adames would be a huge pickup. Can’t move Bo off SS but you try to get Adames in at SS as often as possible by DHing Bo more, and he can just play 3B. Gives us power and defense. Seems to love Toronto as well according to his instagram. Get it done Shatkins.
  2. He’s a rental and everyone knows both sides would like to move on. They aren’t getting any top prospects for him. They might get a couple of a B prospects at the absolute most. It would be like Barger and another decent prospect and a lottery ticket.
  3. Free Agency has also become a dumpster fire and a lot of teams are becoming more reluctant to throw around money to players that aren’t stars. It seems like its only a couple teams throwing around money and everyone else is just looking for steals. Unless the Dodgers or Mets want you. You’re gonna be still looking for a job in February. MLB really needs to address this somehow. MLB Free Agency is so f***ing boring. NHL, NBA, and NFL all have shows because the best players sign in the first few hours. Salary cap contributes to this yes. But MLB has got to find a way to incentivize signing early.
  4. I really like this.
  5. I like it for both teams. Secures Witt in Royal Blue for 7 years giving them time to build around one of the best young players in Baseball. But also gives him the ability to opt out on his prime to secure maximum dollar. Good for both sides.
  6. Why though lol? That's barely an upgrade if you can call it one.
  7. Well deserved. Earned a full time big league spot. Very happy for Jay and his family.
  8. I probably made that like 8 years ago lol. Ironically I hate Reddit. But peoples panties get in a twist more often here lately than in the past. I miss the Bluejays.com days. Less sensitive and less Liberals.
  9. How about you don’t tell me what to do.
  10. I don’t get anything out of that. In a perfect world they both have successful careers. I don’t actively cheer against anyone who plays for the Jays. I also hope Frasso realizes his potential but injuries might ultimately prevent this and that sucks and is frustrating.
  11. And I hope he does. I hope Manoah actually rebounds. But Mitch White making the team and being impactful in a Swingman roll would be fantastic for this team. We need as much good depth as possible. And the pitching by far the strength of this team. This team is only going as far as the pitching takes them.
  12. That's like his best case scenario. And good for him if he makes that happen. It will be interesting to see if he even makes the team. From an asset management point of view if he pitches well having him a spot starter / long guy wouldn't be the worst thing in the world. But the Jays Bullpen mix is pretty loaded. Cabrera, Garcia, Green, Mayza, Richards, Romano, and Swanson. And than you have guys like Bowden Francis and Zach Pop who could argue deserve spots as well. Especially Francis. That's not even factoring in Danner or Zululeta who could also be apart of this bullpen. And the Cuban they just signed from the Japanese league. It's going to be tough for Mitch White. And Jays overall depth looks fantastic. Maybe Mitch White ends up with Oakland and being part of rotation with Stripling lol.
  13. He also had a range of success after that fact. Mitch White has never been anywhere near the level of Kevin Gausman. So stop this nonsense narrative. Horrendous comparison. Maybe one of the worst I have ever seen.
  14. Mitch White was DFA'd and nobody even claimed him lol. He had decent success in the Dodgers bullpen as a long man in 2021 that spanned 46 innings. And some decent success as a starter/swingman to begin 2022 that spanned 56 innings. Since that point he has been utterly terrible. Like having him on the mound was actively nuking your chance of winning.
  15. It's unfournante for Frasso who has such a beautiful gift can't do what he loves. Mitch White doesn't even have a fraction of the talent he does.
  16. Not accurate. The little race car that could actually showed some determination and when exactly was our good run because we haven't won a playoff game since 2016 lol. We have been swept out of year of the Vlad era.
  17. Wouldn’t be surprised if Alan Roden impacted this year’s roster. That kid can hit. And we got a couple of OF’s who can’t so if the offense struggles as I would expect it will. Can see Roden stealing at-bats from both Varsho and Kiermaier this season. Wonder it they will start Roden in AAA.
  18. You're gonna have to accept they will be class of this division for a long time. Our only hope is them spending on the wrong guys. Baltimore is a s*** hole so its possible dudes won't want to play and re-sign there though.
  19. I'm down for that option as well. He's got plenty of Arm for 3B. But obviously his Defense and range at SS is elite.
  20. Ummmm can the Jays get Adames instead and move Bo to 2B.
  21. I would rather his money be allocated elsewhere once again not that difficult. Jays have a good Bullpen. They can trade from strength to address other concerns? Like either you don’t know a tax penalty exists or you’re purposely ignoring it. This isn’t even about Garcia’s ability. I have zero doubt he will he fine in his role. I like some of the arms in AAA and would like to see them get some looks this Season. Depth is good. Lets use that to build a better roster.
  22. Fire into the sun is an expression. At no point did I think they should dump him for nothing. I wouldn’t mind if they moved on him from him though. Watching him hit is pure agony. Especially the bunting.
  23. Jays have pen depth. Very good pen depth actually. They don’t need to give Garcia 6 million if they are struggling to build an offense. Like its not outrageous contract but with the Jays right up against the tax it all adds up. One thing that would he fun to track is how many relievers sign minor league deals this off-season out perform Garcia because middle relievers aren’t that hard to find.
  24. No that one was purely personal. Would still love for that to happen.
  25. It’s not an overreaction to be concerned about the lineup. I didn’t call the combo of them gross. I called the 5-9 has the potential to be gross if under performance continues and injuries happen. I like Danny Jansen. He can’t stay healthy. Kirk is not someone I feel should be hitting 5th for a team with aspirations to win a World Series. It Kirk/Janeen was 7/8 would be feeling much better. Not a difficult concept to understand.
