    I don’t agree with people being cancelled for an opinion though. Cut him because hes lackluster and unreliable not because he spoke his mind.

    That Santander contract was terrible the moment pen met paper. It really took a social media outrage for people to start saying this lol. If it leads to the organization cutting ties I all for it though. You have to view his contract as a complete sunk cost at this point. I would rather not see him play Defense and would rather the DH spot be a rotation to get guys rest:

    You know I don’t want that right? I am not actively cheering for a lockout. I miss Baseball right now. I am going to hate it even more in February when Spring Training doesn’t start on time. And even more when we’re approaching April and no games are being played. Obviously nobody wants to lose money but it’s quite clear they want a salary cap and are willing to lock out the players and not have a Season until they have a new structure in place.

    Blue Jays hold the tie breaker over Cleveland now so its a big result. Blue Jays still have 6 games against Baltimore but are currently 4-3 vs them this season. So once again large control of their Destiny.

    Hopefully they take care of the Royals this time. Losing 2 of 3 at home was not ideal. Blue Jays control a lot of its Destiny going forward.

    Massive game tomorrow. The difference between being 2.5 GB and .5 GB. Hopefully we get the good version of Soriano and the offense can cook again like tonight. Pretty much all the woes of the Season can be erased if this team can sneak into the playoffs and Vlad has a strong September. Like what really more could we ask for at this point. The American League is utterly terrible and anything could happen in the playoffs.

    Feel like the logical move is to have Santander replace Springer as the DH. But we have no idea what they would actually get out of him. He basically hasn’t played Baseball in 2 years. His shoulder and back could just be toast at this point. We also don’t know how Barger is going to show up to camp,

    I’m riding the hot bat. Pretty sure Robert Jr only has 5m in guaranteed money remaining. I think it’s a gamble they should have made personally. Will ultimately see how it works out.

    Not acquiring Robert Jr for litteral money is definitely a bold decision. Instant upgrade over Shaw and Cameron. And if you don’t want to pay him 20 million next year. Just buy him out.
