  1. Make sure to always add one because of the tiebreaker. 7.5 games.
  2. I have a feeling we're going to be leaning on him heavy. I probably just let somebody else pitch today. especially with four games in 3 days coming.
  3. Springer obviously feels really bad for not scoring on that play lol
  4. Let's forget all the Springer ********, we're up baby!!!
  5. Then it drops in and he scores easily, he would have scored had he not looked up and slowed down that's the only reason he didn't score. He made the right play but he did a stupid thing at the end that's all.
  6. Well it dropped in and he should have scored anyway but that's his own idiocy. That was an easy run either way whether it drops in or whether it's an amazing catch. You expect the center field to at least try to make an amazing catch there if it's close enough. People are over analyzing this, that should have been a run either way, If the guy makes a great catch and George scores on the tag we credit him with great base running. He shouldn't have looked up and slowed down. That's what cost them the run.
  7. The only way that ball is caught on is on a dive. Then he's safe at the plate. He absolutely made the right call.
  8. If he has to dive to make that catch, George just proved he could have scored on the tag-up play cuz he basically did tag up right there and the center fielder wouldn't have got him had he run through and slid, you add in the extra split second it takes to get up and get set after a diving catch, he absolutely would have made it.
  9. If he dives to make the catch he scores easily on that, people are blaming the tag up, the tag up wasn't the problem it's what he did at the end that was the problem.
  10. The tag up was fine, not only did he slow down to look up for some unknown reason but he didn't slide. Our base running has been s***.
  11. I think they've had some good at bats against him. Obviously he's still filthy. But I feel like they've been seeing him better the second and third time through.
  12. We needed ace Gausman today, and we're getting it. Probably has one more inning in him.
  13. I thought he had a good at bat there. Hit the ball hard.
  14. Let him have one swing. The guy's been hitting the ball well all season. And it's not easy to bunt a guy like Skubal. I despise the call, in my opinion the worst call of the season. Way too cute.
  15. What the f*** kind of horrible ******** call was that? I understand you have to be creative against this guy but there is such a thing as way too f***ing cute. On a 3-0 count with a guy who's hit the ball pretty well this year. Way too much managing.
  16. Hopefully Kirk's okay. That's some rough timing with maybe the only chance they're going to get off Skubal
  17. There's no point trying to work the count against Skubal, you'll just get yourself in trouble. If you see a pitch to hit, swing.
  18. How about rain during the start long enough to make it a bullpen game by the fifth?
  19. I think I might have been rooting for the rain today 😄
  20. Even a mediocre version of him will be tough. Need the ace version of Gausman today to keep us in it.
  21. I never believed in that narrative. I've heard that excuse with a lot of failed prospects. Cream rises eventually. If he was that good he would have eventually been that good. He just wasn't that good. Most prospects just aren't.
  22. Nick f***ing Kurtz. Already the second best hitter in the game?
