  1. BS argument. There is a salary limit to this team and he's working against it. Otherwise let's just sign everyone for $500 million. Assets acquired for him and the money that was used for him could have combined for something better than him.
  2. Feels like we should've had multiple runs by now. Hopefully this doesn't come back to but our ass.
  3. Guerrero defenders want to keep coming up with excuses for this f*** ass? Completely recklessly running to third like a f***ing idiot.
  4. Well then he's worked very hard, I would have given him a day off today.
  5. This was the most concerning matchup of the three. Houser has been really good and beat us last time, Laurer has been every bit as good though. Hopefully we got something left in our bats for him today.
  6. Giants with a walk off inside the park 3 run home run. So we're ahead of the Phillies now overall. Romano gave it up by the way.
  7. Bassitt with the complete game baby! Asterisk and all, when is the last complete game we had?
  8. Twice for six games. Like most divisional opponents they have two series in the first half and two series in the second half. The only divisional opponent we haven't done that with is Boston, we got three of our four series out of the way with them in the first half.
  9. I hope he steps into the Springfield Mystery Spot.
  10. They could have taken us to a much more competitive game than the Yankees game. I get the standings and all, but this game is f***ing over.
  11. Yeah, it almost certainly means the end of Bassitt even if it's a short delay.
  12. Wow that happened quickly. Looks like a summer storm, in fast, goes hard, doesn't last long.
  13. He should be better. He should be hitting with a lot more power. He has been a disappointment relative to his talent. That's the bottom line. Some of us are perfectly fine with who he is and others will never accept this version of him. That's just how it seems to be on this board.
  14. He laboured in his last start. I wouldn't push him much beyond 90. 7 innings is great.
  15. Yeah he hasn't been nearly as bad as in past years so I'll give him a pass on that.
  16. The fact that he takes two strikes swings with fewer than two strikes, and the fact that he's constantly late on fastballs. That shouldn't be happening. Somebody with his talent and bat speed should not be late constantly. He misses cookies way too often for his talent level. His home run totals are way too low for the number of at bats he gets and his raw talent and power.
  17. I'm talking about his approach not his luck. His approach is s***. Whatever "bad luck" he's getting he could be even better if he wasn't an idiot.
  18. It was frustrating before the long-term contract. Going forward it's just flat out infuriating.
  19. It's great that our highest paid hitter has probably the worst approach at the plate on the team.
  20. Bassitt more aggressive in that inning with the five-run lead.
  21. I think on that play his teammates have to yell instructions to him because he's watching the ball and the broken bat. But they probably don't give a f*** at this point.
  22. Hang some crooked numbers on the scoreboard boys!
  23. I think against softer tossing righties, I don't mind seeing Schneider in there. Against hard throwing righties, it's more of a problem I think.
