    Signs of life for Auston Matthews. Do we dare expect that this will open the floodgates? Yeah I don't think so either but at least there's a sliver of hope.

    With the parity around baseball, not a lot of easy series out there. This one might be a bit tougher than most but at least we miss Skubby Doo.

    Well, the Blue Jays are on the brink of having Toronto sports fans' undivided attention. So it's a good time to get hot.

    It's weird with Hoffman, he's pretty much absolute nails except for three games in which he pitched only 1/3 of an inning and gave up 3 runs, 3 runs and now 5 runs. It's like he's either got it or he doesn't got it but when he doesn't have it he really doesn't have it and when he has it he's almost untouchable. That they've been three of his last five outings might be concerning. But he was f***ing dominant in the other two.

    Damn I fell asleep on my couch after eating some really good Thai food, woke up after the game was over and just looked at the box score. Glad I didn't have to witness that. Hoffman, I just don't understand you bro.

    Not a great outing, but he got us into the 6th with a chance to win.
