    Everything going to plan with the bullpen. This has the potential to be one of my favourite Blue Jays bullpens ever. That I did not have on my bingo card for this year.

    Be lucky to get 5 from Francis. Might want to consider putting Francis between Bassitt and Gausman or Berrios because we can't have him and the bullpen games back to back.

    As for this game, methinks San Diego is about to break out of their recent slump. Not that many matchups are a good one for Francis but this might be a particularly bad one. As for Kolek, looks like a journeyman, hopefully we do damage, but with this team who the hell knows?

    Feels nice to have a bullpen we could feel pretty secure about. I wouldn't call them lights out just yet, but there is some depth there and a degree of confidence that is nice to have.

    There's just no going forward with this group. I don't know exactly where it goes, but this is not a one or two player thing. Need a lot more offense from the back end, that's part of the problem, a big part actually, and need some more guys in the top six that are heavier on the puck. They deserve to be the butt end of every joke coming their way.

    Hasn't their pitcher allowed like a 1.100 OPS against left-handed hitters this year? Probably had more to do with it.
