  1. So are people finally done riding the nuts of the front office and willing to acknowledge, as some of us always knew, they failed to take this team to another level in the off season? Bullpen still only okay, no starting pitching depth (even though this hasn't come back to really haunt us, yet), downgraded offense. Traded our top prospect for Daulton f***ing Varsho (although I'm sure people aren't done riding Varsho's nuts yet). Or do you require more evidence because I assure you it's coming with this schedule.
  2. Indeed, the flaws that were obvious about this team to those without rose tinted glasses are coming home to roost , especially against the AL East.
  3. No they think batting average is meaningless. Because they're f***ing idiots.
  4. Baseball gods evening out those bad strike calls.
  5. Chapman has kind of been garbagey this year defensively it must be said.
  6. Too early to say much about Nate. But he certainly should not be in the circle of trust at the moment.
  7. Nice to see the Pirates after a rough series in Boston. On to the next one.
  8. The mediocre bullpen and inconsistent starting pitching was completely predictable. This team did not improve in a meaningful way in the offseason. I don't know why so many on here were excited about the mediocre offseason we had.
  9. Coming to check in from the Leafs game. What the actual f***? I had to double check to see if Gausman had indeed started this one.
  10. Well that sucks. Thanks. He's got to find a consistent third pitch for lefties. Especially with no shift he's going to keep getting exposed.
  11. Just started watching the game, kind of wish I hadn't bothered. The pitching line doesn't always tell the story, was Manoah good but unlucky?Horrible but lucky? Or just as mediocre as it appears?
  12. The sox can still hit, something people keep overlooking when it comes to incessantly mocking them.
  13. The flaws with this team didn't suddenly just appear. There's enough of a track record with the bullpen that we know what these guys are and what they aren't. The rotation is paper thin with no real backup plan. Or at least no good backup plan. The offense will be fine for the most part even if not as good as last year.
