  1. Big time by Romano today! f***ING WIN!
  2. We can't waste that break. We just can't.
  3. If that ball short hops and Bo is tagging, he might not have scored, perhaps that's his thought process, that he couldn't have tagged from that depth anyhow so he has to score on a hit right to Verdugo.
  4. Three runs ain't happening from this team.
  5. His defense and framing are important
  6. It was worth the gamble, it's just shameful how obese he is.
  7. So it can't possibly be that other people might've had a clue, it's just that they're cynics. You know what else is really annoying? People who just can't admit that they were wrong.
  8. Why? For a year and a half he was declining. Suddenly he's supposed to not? Sure this season was worse than last year, but not by miles. Not by an amount that substantially changes the fact that this team is underwhelming. I'm not suggesting it might not have happened, he might have gone back to superstar status, but he showed nothing by the end of last year to suggest that would happen. It was just hope, nothing more.
  9. Get the f*** out of here with that s***. 8 years of ********. Guerrero had been trending downward since the first half of 2021. He's having a worse season than anticipated but not by much, at least not relative to what I expected and what anyone else should expected based on how he's been trending. Varsho has always carried a limp noodle for a bat. Chapman isn't even that far off from what he's been for the past couple of years overall. How about the incredible luck we got in our rotation considering that our backup plan to start the season was f***ing Mitch White? We weren't punished nearly as much as we should have been for that horrible planning. Our season should have been over before the all-star break. The bottom line is we sit here with one elite pitcher on our major league roster. Zero elite hitters. No homegrown starting pitchers, except for the fat one in the minors who's being a bitch. Speaking of which, how about the incredibly low bar set by the leadership of this organization? The one that allows fat players to continue being fat and the one that allows players to repeat the same mistakes without consequence? The one that's allowing the fat pitcher to walk all over them right now. Entitlement all over the place. That starts at the top. AA could have and should have still been here. He smelled the horseshit from a mile away.
  10. What does any of this have to do with snails and flower petals?
  11. Didn't even take him 100 pitches to capitulate this time. What's he going to complain about now that they're making him start too many games? Not enough days rest? Thermostat was set wrong in the clubhouse?
  12. Are there still Atkins supporters on here? There can't possibly be. I know there are still Shapiro supporters on here, I don't get that either.
  13. No hindsight required. Everyone with a brain knew it at the time.
  14. Kirk's pitch framing really is art.
  15. Sid can be entertaining. But he's also an annoying **** a lot of times.
  16. Kind of getting tired of giving the other pitcher credit. At some point it's not them it's us.
  17. People still listening to that doofus?
  18. Berrios solid game and one big swing of the bat is helping cover up the fact that this is another terrible effort by the Blue Jays overall. Offense still asleep.
  19. And now, a reading from the gospel of Hillenbrand...
  20. Really just needed one win in that series. I've been calling out how mediocre and a non-contender this team is since the season started, and even I'm shocked by the abject failure lol
  21. His approach is why I don't want to sign him long term. I don't trust it. I said it before, let someone else pay him. I have more faith in Vlad long-term than I do Bo.
  22. Not going to suggest that was a great deal, it wasn't, but I also don't view it as negatively as many do. Jays did get some value out of Tulo, certainly on the defensive end, for a team that was trying to win the WS. If we win, it's worth the payout in the end. We knew the window was closed after 2016 anyhow, who cares about the money at that point. Was it THAT much more than Reyes would've contributed? No probably not overall, but given the construction of the team, we needed Tulo's D more than his O.
  23. I've been doing it since the beginning of the season so at this point I'm just tired.
