    I've said it before and I'll say it again, we don't have a true number two, we have a number one and a couple of threes and fours.

    You can't work the count against a guy that throws continuous quality strikes. Jays don't have the quality of hitters to battle him. You got to look fastball and hack. Let the s***** chips fall where they may.

    Can this board stop reminding me of this god-awful trade? It's over, no point beating the dead and decomposed horse.

    Do you really see this offense trashing Cole's ERA? The guys chasing a Cy, he's going to unleash fury on our noodle bats. We have to run up his pitch count and hope to beat the bullpen again.

    Beating King helps. He was as good as advertised. That's one of the six pitching matchups that concerned me for the final 11 games. Still have Cole*2, Glasnow*2 and King again. We're probably going to have to find the way to win a couple of those five matchups.

    Well you're right there's nothing they can do to force them to smarten up, the organization should be open to bad cop once good cop doesn't work though. Professional athletes are like children, if they know there's no discipline they will not respect authority. Send them down, take away playing time, and if even bad cop doesn't get through to them you got to just get rid of them. You just can't go forward with players like that.

    Got to say I love the idea of adding a pure base stealer. I've always been a fan of having a guy like that for big games. With the kind of pitching we'll be facing, he may win us a game

    Was wondering if anybody would bring up the extreme luck of that hit lol. But give him credit for having a good at bat leading to that hit.

    He is what he is offensively but we need his defense at third. He may not be what he used to be but just having a guy who can make the plays you're supposed to make at third is valuable. You don't appreciate it until he's gone.

    The guy batting third in our lineup tonight just had a couple of great at bats in a row. Nice to see from such an important spot 🙂
