I'm not sure what was available, maybe asking prices just weren't met, like with Hader.
I certainly have been putting blame on the front office all season. I didn't like the off-season, I was surprised how many people here seemed to like what they did. I didn't think we're closer to a world series this year than we were last year and I didn't think we were a world series team last year. 2021 may have been the window, and we let a lousy bullpen destroy that.
They built a very good team, but It's a little too deficient. Granted there aren't a lot of great teams out there outside of Atlanta due to injuries and suspensions and whatnot. If our offense was just a little bit better, or if our rotation just have a little bit more frontline talent, I might believe in this team given the competition, but it just seems to fall a little too short for me.
