    No because being fat is a choice. I'm not pretending he would be a burner if he weren't fat but he wouldn't be as bad, he would be able to give us a few more runs in the season so I disagree with that comparison.

    Offensively, but he changes games with his glove work, so it's a give and take. I do think the glove work is more important than his failures offensively.

    I loved the 92 and 93 teams. You want to guess why? I love the 2015 team. May have been a Brett Cecil away from the world series. 2016 was not as good a team. Can you see the difference between those teams and these teams? So yes when the team is obviously not good enough to win the world series I'm going to point that out. If it's obviously a rebuilding year I'm not going to bitch as much because we're rebuilding but this was supposed to be a championship window wasn't it?

    It's always painful watching Kirk cost us easy runs because of his big belly and tiny legs.

    In fairness it's a lousy offense. I wouldn't be bitching about the 2021 Blue Jays offense.

    They play each other seven times, and if they split four and three, then we're still very much in trouble.

    I've been saying for weeks, two against King, two against Cole, two against Glasnow, and then another four games against the Rays in which we'll be favored with the pitching matchup but doesn't necessarily mean we'll win. 6 to 7 losses was always possible in this 12-game stretch, everyone keeps acting like it's going to be easy they're not really paying attention.

    Looks like I missed some fake drama. Well we'll have a chance for a repeat tomorrow when we get shut down by another ace. Hopefully our guy can at least keep us within touching range this time.

    We had an all-time lineup in 2021 with two legit MVP candidates and the Cy Young winner and failed to make the playoffs.

    Cole is clearly a notch above Gausman. That pinpoint command is awesome with that stuff.

    We can try bunting the ball from time to time. Stop pretending like we're something we're not.

    He's had some hard hit balls during that stretch just some bad luck catching up with the good luck. Kind of rough putting him in against Cole, that won't help lol.
