    Another lefty up today for the O's. please put EE in on first. My thoughts on Batista is he should be DHing as I don't see his throwing in from RF as being nearly as strong as last year besides generally below average fielding.......Smoak to the bench.......

    He may of got some help from poor base running but he didn't get a first pitch strike call from the umpire that was obviously a strike to start. Benoit was rightly and obviously pissed with out confronting the umpire.......love his smirk.....

    Smoak has been poor at best for probably a month. if KC used a beach ball he couldn't hit it. As far as Upton goes he is about the same at the plate however he may get a little more weak contact but he ain't doing his job either. This team as a whole is hitting poorly for the last week, Travis is carrying this team at the moment . However time can change things.......

    EE hits his 30th last night and projected to go 45 for the season......the way he is hitting I think he will do better than his projection....Should of signed this last spring instead of insulting him.

    Lot of face saving going on here as number 2 goes out to face the players. With a 6 man rotation Martin will be worked more which may or may not be good....Kratz in the wings

    The "just because that is how we do it mentality in regards to young arms" with no actual evidence that it is physically beneficial for his longevity as a pitcher by limiting his innings. Since there is no compelling evidence that he has a elbow/shoulder issue? Why. While we are at it take Estrada out because of his obvious back problems as they may want to save him for next year to, or the other half a dozen banged up players. Bunch of pussies that don't want to make the tough choices to win.........

    Liariano needs to turn it around if this move is going to work or help out this team. Feldman seems to have been a improvement over Chavez in that he waited till the 12th. to give up a walk off.

    It would be interesting to know how many of the pitching scrubs they brought in under Shatkins have had their visas revoked and sent back and how many are still here and if the dollar value is + or -.......I would never be negative but s*** in s*** out.....

    Big need in the Bull Pen. all the bats in the world are going to do squat in Oct. with out some extra help in the pen. Grilli has been such bright spot with his consistency and positive attitude........

    If they put him in on Monday I hope they us him as DH and if health Zeke is good enough in RF. Barney looks more and more like the utility guy. Could be a big game with Sanchez on the mound..........

    What is the latest with Bautista in rehab of the toe. When he comes back I see him DHing, EE to 1st. Smoak doing what he does best on the bench. All and all this is going to be an improvement from what is being fielded now. Still need SP big time.........After the Smoak signing I have become resigned to the fact that we loose EE in 2017........
