    The Jays had the benefit of some poor home plate calls last night and they didn't play like a contending team. I won't blame one player but Stroman had no command and his s***** attitude is back. It is time for this team to make some moves with pitching if they want to contend. .....

    I found Stromans demeanor on the field interesting as their appeared to be a change in attitude to a more reserved individual. He pitched a good game and the pen stepped up. One of the highlights was Napoli Striking out to Barney...........

    They need to go out and get a starter if they want to contend. Bringing up Hutch is only one piece of the puzzle and I don't see anyone from this pen as being starter material. Keep Chavez and Storen in the pen as they both are now proving to be valuable pieces. Cecil this first half was terrible as last years first half. However hopefully his second half is a repeat of last years second half, if not there is another big whole and Loup ain't the answer......

    Well that makes two pitchers now the Jays have to replace if they want to be serious about a pennant race. He has had a year now to show the real elite Stroman stuff to the sceptics and its been up and down but mostly down. I really was hoping I was wrong about him but these last four starts that I have watched he absolutely suxed..........

    I think this is realistic if they can give us 5.5 runs as I see this defence as being equal or slightly better than last year. It still would be better to obtain a SP end of July from one of the sell offs that will be happening than counting on Hutch.....

    Can't just hang this lack luster effort on one guy. Little consistency to no hitting from Martin, Pillar, EE, Travis & Tulo. Since Travis has taken over @ second base there seems to be a lack of double plays and my onion of his defence remains the same as last year "middle of the road". The Jays were expected to give up some defence by putting Travis on second but get some predictable hitting which has not happened. Martin has been a sore spot both defence and offence. I can't go on its to painful.........
