  1. Like usual I can't spell as bad as Pennington hits in my haste to point out stupid moves.......
  2. It makes no sense. You already have 2 first basemen that are adequate and one can hit and you waste Tulo's arm and range by this move. Also you are putting Pendleton in and he will be fighting Goins for the number nine spot hitting? Leave the infield the way it was in Oct. Start looking for SP and don't give away any more of the bull pen, just look at the spring of 2015 and what a mess this team was in pitching wise. We need 2 more reliable starters or we will repeat 2015 start and let Hutch fight it out for a role.........get Chapman and we need one less SP and then fill that with Carrasco............
  3. If he does you know we are in trouble....
  4. http://jaysjournal.com/2015/11/21/blue-jays-humerto-quintero-deal-points-to-josh-thole/ I don't get it a lot of the times but getting prepared to move Fatty is just weird. 2015 was anything but a good year for Martin and the team as it is now with Dickey in the rotation needs 3 catchers on the bench which again is just weird especially all this for a pitcher who at best is your #4 and biggest redeeming feature is he can go 200 innings. Move Dickey problem solved.....
  5. Anybody specify what Travis's injury actually is? At the beginning of his injury it was stated some were that it was his clavicle and then at the end of the year a cyst?.....
  6. http://jaysjournal.com/2015/11/13/aroldis-chapman-future-blue-jays-closer/ Getting Chapman would give the jays the option to move one of the young arms into a SP role and then look for a one more SP (Wei-Yin Chen). Would leave the jays with a strong bullpen Chapman/Osuna/Cecil/Sanchez/Hendriks........use as bait Travis/Goins/Pompey/.........
  7. Cecil looked by far the best of the bull pen the second half of the year and it will be interesting were he ends up in the bull pen at the beginning of 2016. Are they going to try and make him a closer again?
  8. As I woke this morning I still believe the jays played a game worthy of praise which the umpires stole from them. Even with my glasses on and repeatedly looked at the ground rule double/home run I see: 1) the bearded little f*** and a second glove are over the wall, the black glove catching the ball in the stadium slightly below the walls highest point. If I remember rightly the ball enters the glove and appears to bounce forward taking the rat faced basters glove with him. His contact would have made it a ground rule double and game changer. Mysteriously NY video camera can't see this. 2) The home plate umpire I think called a pretty good game over all but did blow the obvious ball on Revere which just sucked. I would like to see a standardized pitch tracker in the game and broadcast to the public if for no other reason but to hold the umpires accountable to the public for bad calls and multi bad calls in a game. I don't know why ESPN didn't have one other than MLB wants to keep the umpires shielded from their blown calls.........It was a shortened but great ride
  9. I hope Price proves me wrong about his purchase....
  10. On a different note Loup is off for family leave is their any provisions to add to the 25 man bench.....say Burhle?
  11. He lost control of the zone and started to throw balls as witnessed by the walks. A stimulant could be a factor with a short 1/2 life (which could explain the drop off in the 6th) which would give him the extra speed and control. ....Also I can't remember when but one of the announcers mentioned smelling salts on the KC bench..........That's a Nitrate and a stimulant......
  12. I have thinking/and talking about exactly this since game one as that is some where around 4-5 % consistent improvement in performance and he then has a big let down around the 6th?
  13. Off topic. I think the infield is going to be a interesting situation for the management to work with next year. Travis comes back with hopefully his bat is hot however Goins has proven his defensive superiority, and Tulo is Tulo. Hate to be a anarchist but what about Travis at 1st and close off the infield and have a .300 hitter still in the line up. Smoke/Colabelo to the bench........
  14. logic would say Estrada but I hope they go with Price in the Rogers Centre and set Estrada for game 6 in KC because of the bigger park.
  15. Have they said officially who is pitching game 5 for the jays yet?
  16. Cueto is coming off two good outings so its about time he falls on his face. Dickey next and then Price. Next stop KC for game 6 & 7. Even though I think the games have been umped well, I wonder why they aren't showing a pitch tracker MLB maybe wants min. amount of controversy? Last home plate umpire to me seemed to change his strike zone in the second half of the game........
  17. I can't see why EE can't play ......a little lido injection into his knuckle and should be good for 4 hours its a long way from his heart........
  18. Kaufman stadium slightly bigger in dimensions than the Rogers centre in RC-C-LC by 10-15 feet and should give Estrada some breathing room with Pillar out there.....let go Jays
  19. As I said after there regular season game I want to see KC vs Tor in the AL Final it would be huge..........go jays......
  20. Price hits a guy twice who scores 3 times walks 2 one of which scores. I hope it is his only mediocre game and his Tampa Bay karma doesn't continue. Tor hit Gallardo 2-3 times well early that could of been out of the field on other days I also think Tex used Gallardo well when they pulled him as if not the game could have easly gone the other way. See what the bats can do against Hamels today. Want to see Donaldson and Joey in the line up today.....need Stoman to show take it to them............ Go Jays.....
  21. ESPN hopefully gets their eyes opened today and figures out were Toronto is. The middle should be owned by Tulo, Goins and of coarse Kevin........
  22. Keeping my fingers crossed for Price and the bats the first game could be monumental and a precursor to the series and get rid of those ESP play by play idiots.
  23. Arietta was a great on the mound but AL hittable and after seeing/hearing the his interview they should of asked for a urine sample......
