    The progression of the Jays pitching prospects this season has been mind-blowing. Is this SSS or part of the new improvement in training facilities/metrics? I hate getting my hopes up on pitching prospects but I am starting to nibble on that damned hook again...

    Was randomly wondering how Semien was doing this year... A .432 OPS so far this year. I know he sometimes gets off to slow starts but that is crazy.

    My gawd what a difference Chapman makes to this team defense. He just adds so much confidence to the infield. Him and Gausman are going to be the two that takes this team to the post season. Vladdy, Bo, Hernadez etc will do their part of course but the two guys that make this team TRULY believe that they are world series contenders are Chapman and Gausman.

    What an absolutely frustrating game to watch (endure?). Pitch after pitch all you could do was shake your head and wonder what the f*** was going on. The bias seemed so blatant and it never stopped...the whole game. Charlie needed to get tossed in the 4th or 5th. It might have made the Ump more accountable, gotten the crowd more fired up and motivated his team to have a "f*** this ********" chip on their shoulders for the rest of the game. Atkins needs to put the bongos on time-out until Charlie puts his leadership hat on.

    I can't believe he plays for the team I am a fan of AND that he is a homegrown talent. The prospect development path of this team right now is f***ing insane. Add Moreno and Martinez plus maybe a few more over the next few years? The jays and the Raptors are maybe the gold standard in their sports for changing how teams develop talent right now.

    This is a great trade. A legit center field back-up is just what this pitching staff needs. The focus on having a huge boost to defensive runs prevented at third and center this offseason will allow the SP's to go deeper in games and have less reliance on the BP. Chapman at third and Springer/Zimmer at center vs last year? wow...what a difference.

    Thornton looked good today. Nice movement on his pitches. Espinal looks like he is taking roids or something for sure. Does he have more acne this year? I knew someone taking roids of some sort and they broke out right away. Impressed by Heineman behind the plate. Looked comfortable back there. Should be a good role model for the young catchers in AAA? Donaldson weak throws and s***** baserunning... Wonder if he has lost it. Love the way the Yanks defense played today. Yah there might have been some Blue Jays babip luck as well... The skinny guy in the grey polo shirt in the stands behind the catcher was filming and hand gesturing after a lot of the pitches. Wonder what that was all about?

    Springer, Vladdy, Chapman and Bichette are top 10 in mvp voting at the end of the year. Manoah, Berrios and Gausman all finish top 8 in Cy Young voting with Berrios winning.
