Wow...good on Semien betting on himself at 2B. What a monster move for him...going to pay-off big time if he keeps anything close to this pace up. What would he need to sign for over 5 years for the Jays to consider him at the value that they need to? Would they sign him for 110/5? Not asking what Semien would sign for, just what the Jays FO would bite at over 5 years.

Really surprised that Reese is making the catcher discussion so interesting. Is this 100% SSS or has he changed something about his AB's?

I think Bichette's at bat that lead to the winning rally is a good team barometer of whether the team is feeling defeated or not. Bichette is a leader on this team and he battled hard in the 9th. It is really good to see that the core of the team is staying focused on competing even when they are in a losing streak.

Charlie putting on the heat to make some trades. With the incredible depth the Jays have with their MiLB depth it is odd they haven't dealt some mid-range prospects for relief help. Their are some teams with decent relievers that are functionally out of the post-season chase that have some talent they should be willing to move for a reasonable price. What T F are the Jays waiting for?

I'm glad Vladdy got the late homer if for only so that that Manoah didn't get the L. He didn't pitch the best game but I like that he battled instead of pitching scared.

Stat guy for the win...lol. My point was he was an unproven asset that was easy to root for and has established himself as a solid major leaguer. Those are the type of players that make me enjoy tracking our minor league talent.

I have been really enjoying watching the progress of so many of the Jay's draftees and international signings that I will have mixed feelings if they are traded. I mean, I get the need to use unproven assets to trade for proven talent that helps the major league roster, but after watching a player move up the system for multiple years it is kinda weird to see them on another team. A player like Miguel Castro is what I am referring to.

I am really hoping Murphy adjusts to his delivery charge. Looking forward to more updates on his season. I feel for the guy...going through a chunk of a season with good results and then being told to change your whole routine.
