  1. One of my all time favorites. Calm...no drama...busted his ass on EVERY play without too much showboating. Class and elite talent. Miss those days.
  2. Ok...you got me there...lol. Let's agree that "parts" of them weren't that bad...some parts were pretty cringe.
  3. The worst part of your schtick is that you actually seem to believe your BS... If it was tongue-in-cheek or clever it would come across better...but it seems like you actually think the way you talk... pretty sad to be honest. Be better bro.
  4. Some examples of "inspiration" that will end with similar results... Rental king Blockbuster passes on buying DVD-by-mail upstart Netflix for $50 million. Netflix’s 2018 market value: more than $150 billion. IT worker James Howells mistakenly throws away an old hard drive containing 7,500 Bitcoins, worth $1,000 when he bought them—and $50 million today. Star Wars episodes 1-3 New Coke The Edsel Bottom line is you are no Sheriff. If all you want to do is get inspiration from an annoying troll then...actually I don't give a f*** what you do...
  5. It's a troll account. Keep him banned.
  6. This seems like odd timing with only a month before pitchers report. Wonder if there is some type of philosophy difference or he just got a better opportunity?
  7. Bichette @ 7.5 million is a shot across the bow for the Jays and MLB. He made $700k last year and files for $7.5 million? He isn't eligible for free agency for a while but I wonder if him and his camp aren't considering pushing the system ala Nylander a few years ago. Him and his camp seem like they come from the type of background to test the boundaries of the MLB arb situation. With teams saying f*** you to the luxury cap, there will (and should) be players saying why the f*** am I making s*** money while lesser players are getting paid?
  8. That means we are doing it right, right?
  9. I don't think anyone will be surprised when Bo does not sign an extension unless the Jays Max/Overpay him. I get the feeling when he has his own season review he only watches his highlights.
  10. I am a day late but does anyone know why Boomer only signs Jays cards? I read that today.
  11. (last off topic post...promise) My contribution.
  12. Oh well now we have to guess...lol. I will go with Tool
  13. Well s***, that is disappointing to see. He is mourning his friends getting traded and is putting on 5lbs per friend in their honor.
  14. My 2 take-aways are: Shi Davidi needs to get his fireplace vent fixed. Is Varsho the third option behind the plate? An injury to a catcher or an outfielder makes the outfield depth pretty thin right now. I think they still add on OF...is it more likely to be a trade or a signing at this point? I'm thinking it will be a trade. I do like this signing, it just made me wonder why it wasn't a similar profile OF instead of 1B/DH they got.
  15. Can't wait to see him hit in Yankee stadium.
  16. d = D= : D (jeebus...6 edits later it worked...)
  17. The key question for me is 36" what? I realize it makes me an awful person but its gotta be a good C or bigger... Sorry...off topic.
  18. I voted better. Varsho and Belt both project to have better numbers in Rogers stadium. No Tapia or Zimmer as Ang points out...big win. Shift change should help our current roster more than it hurts. Net = better
  19. Seriously stoked for Spring training now. If 2 of Berrios, Kikuchi, White or Thompson have bounce-back seasons this rotation is going to be amazing. I would love to see how some of the media/insiders in NY, Tampa, Baltimore and Boston think of what the Jays have done this season.
  20. Sorry if I missed it, but has anyone mentioned how the shift rules might affect Belt next year?
  21. I don't think I have ever mentioned Biggio before...lol. Let it go man.
  22. It will be really interesting to read about what we're the facts, what was conjecture and what was posturing if this all comes out.
  23. You don't try to talk baseball. You draw lines in the sand and thump your chest like a 16 year old douchebag that needs a punch in the teeth when you get anything right. You don't add value if all you do is come on and spike the ball when you get something YOU consider right. No one wants to read you rehashing your low event successes in life or what a bad ass you must be...boring as f*** is what you are. Stick to opinions and your reasoning and people will respect you because of it. Don't force the narrative.
  24. Manoah yelling at Cole to walk past the logo next time he has something to chirp about comes to mind...lol. A second year player telling a well-paid vet to stfu is all about character, that is legendary s*** right there.
  25. My only thought on that would be to allow it but have a max number of contracts of that type per team. Otherwise perhaps there would be concern that a high-spending team could stash a bunch of 5-8 talent pitchers at pretty much major league salaries just in case and also keep them away from lower revenue teams. The pension thought is also a good point. It's a good question though.
