  1. League figured him out after 4 games. Great job Aktins you stupid f*ck.
  2. I heard a pre-game interview from him and I don't think he's a smart man.
  3. Send him back to Japan if he can't throw out Meidroth on a perfectly placed bunt like that. What a loser.
  4. This is pretty common for Cease. There will be plenty of 4 IP, 4 BB, 96 pitch outtings.
  5. Vlad's back to being a fat f*cking POS again - shocking. Won't be long until he's the worst contract in all of MLB.
  6. F*ck this team, utter garbage, blow up the team! Can't beat the Rockies and White Sox? Fire Atkins and Schneider today. Unacceptable!
  7. ESPN’s Buster Olney reports the Pirates will sign SS Konnor Griffin to a nine-year, $140 million extension.
  8. There's a difference between letting off a few F bombs v. suggesting we should fire the FO/coaches, ripping the Manager on every decision he makes that backfires and/or bragging about how you told everyone that Player X is garbage.
  9. I don't know if there's any stats to back this up, but I've always had the feeling that players often struggle in their first year on a new team. Obviously not everyone does, but it doesn't seem uncommon good players to struggle in year 1. Added pressure maybe? New surroundings/routine? New coaching? Don't know.
  10. I get that. I do. I certainly do this. I just don't buy that your emotions watching a baseball game makes you rage post nonsense like it's outside of your control. Develop some emotional intelligence. How old are some people? 12? LOL We all get upset when the Jays screw up and lose. It's brutal. I guess I don't need to vent on a message board (OK sometimes I do 😂). I prefer being rational and positive. I'm sorry to say that. I am. I don't mind you anymore. You've improved. I'm happy for you. You're growing, just maybe at a CB Buckner pace, but we'll take it (sorry - couldn't resist that one). I may be improving at the same rate - who knows. I have learned just to ignore GDTs. I know people rage post, I don't get it, but whatever, people can do what they want, I know it pisses me off and I know I'll chirp people. So I typically just ignore it. But it's early in the season and we're all horny for Jays content so here I am. That is all.
  11. It does. The offense isn't firing on all cylinders, but it's early, Popkins needs to get these boys sorted out. He proved himself last year - I think he'll get them going. I like what I've seen from Okamoto to believe he's going to be a solid replacement for Bo. It could totally go south, but it's too early for any chicken little nonsense.
  12. That's really important to remember, thanks for doing that research. As much as I love ripping on sh*tty umpires, they continue to improve, which is really all I can ask for. They are pretty damn accurate in general. It must suck to be CB Buckner and go from one of the very best in the sport, to one of the crappiest - who get ripped on regularly and people question if you're a moron, simply because you can't improve as fast as your co-workers over a 10 year period. I suspect there are just some physical restrictions that prevents you from being super accurate. He may be trying hard, but just can't physically be able to make calls more accurately and - yet remains accurate enough to sustain a fulltime gig in the ML level. Or maybe he's a lazy dipsh*t who just doesn't work hard enough to improve as fast as his peers and doesn't GAF whether he's good or not, knowing he's protected by the union - in which case, f*ck him.
  13. Our middle infield defense must be the best in all of MLB. Varsho, Gimenez, Clement and Kirk? Just sublime.
  14. He literally walked as often as he struck out last year and hasn't had a K% over 18.8 in the past 6 years. Claiming he doesn't see the strike zone and citing 1 ABS challenge as "proof" that your observation is correct, 5 games into the season, is dumb. Sorry.
  15. To be honest - their velo helps hide their inability to locate. This is true with most hard throwers. That's one of the main benefits of throwing hard.
  16. The fans in the painter overalls with the brushes are awesome. That'll be a fun time at the ballpark for years to come (perhaps).
  17. Barger needs to figure it out. Clear the mechanism.
  18. Brutal news on Ponce. Feel awful for him. We can't afford much more bad news... Why can't we have nice things?
  19. https://www.instagram.com/reel/DWjeEknAdKu/?igsh=NWk1OGllczRlMjVs That's interesting - why doesn't ABS match the rulebook?
  20. Oka crushing 99 MPH is meaningful (IMO). That's often the knock on the Japanese players - they don't see enough velo for you to really know how they'll translate in the big leagues... They need to flip flop him and Kirk v. RHP...
