  1. Is that Shane Gillis? That is awesome.
  2. It looks like our leverage arms to slip in a little vacation these days. Hit the beaches, grab a tan.
  3. Yeah I always got the same impression. That may change as he ages I guess. It is remarkable how well he's sustained his talent/metrics throughout all these injuries. It's been sad to see him become somewhat of an afterthought amongst fans - my kids don't fully appreciate how amazing he was (is?). It would be great to see him age gracefully, with a few more 5+ WAR seasons and finish with 100+ WAR for his career. It just seems the likelihood of that happening is quite low. He's a massive risk for any team at his current price. I don't see anyone taking that on without the Angels eating a lot. If you have to take his full contract, than I don't think you're going to have to give up much in return.
  4. Playoff Vlad fooled us. He is who we thought he was. An inconsistent, infuriating, low IQ baseball player.
  5. Doubtful he looks at Toronto to achieve this...
  6. I believe Trout is owed $35.4M per year until 2030. Angels would have to eat a ton of that, and Trout has a full no-trade clause.
  7. USA Today’s Bob Nightengale reports that the Giants “would love” to unload large contracts for players like Rafael Devers, Jung Hoo Lee, Willy Adames, and Matt Chapman. The Giants made one big move already, sending Patrick Bailey to the Guardians, and it seems like that could just be one step in a full-on rebuild. All of Jung Hoo Lee ($85 million left on his contract), shortstop Willy Adames ($161 million remaining), first baseman Rafael Devers ($226.5 million remaining), and Matt Chapman ($125 million remaining) are owed plenty of money going forward, so the Giants could have plenty of interesting levers to pull as we get closer to the trade deadline.
  8. Carpenter at the plate with the defense/arm/versatility would be an amazing outcome.
  9. That's great for baseball. I hope you're right.
  10. You don't see draft picks traded very often. They can't trade any pick can they? It must be restricted to conditional picks only? Bailey is incredible defensively, but he can't hit. Seems like a good return for the Giants? Wilkinson has pitched great. He looks like he has a chance doesn't he?
  11. Nice spark provided this game by Barger. Great to see him back in the lineup. Go Jays!
  12. It might be to ensure Pinango continues to play everyday? That's my guess.
  13. We need Bieber back. It feels like Berrios and Max might both be dead. I'm sure we're trying to hold off on using Bieber as long as possible...
  14. Your schtick is getting old, repetitive and incessant. Sorry dude.
  15. Yanks are calling up Spencer Jones. Will be interesting to see what he becomes.
  16. Pinto has raked everywhere he's played. If only he could stay healthy!
  17. I'll assume this means you are an old member. Too embarrassed to tell us whom though. That checks out.
  18. I'm just curious. Can you just answer a question like an adult?
  19. Can I ask - have you been a member of this board before and are just using a different username now? If not, where did you come from and how did you find us? Are you enjoying yourself and planning to continue posting this frequently moving forward? I'm curious as you're very active.
