    Anyone hear the ******** on PTS today? They solidified my concern that Sanchez has a massive leash as a starter (from a media perspective). They all agreed that Stro and Sanchez are written in pen as our #1 and #2 starters moving forward and how surprised they are with Sanchez's struggles because he had a good spring training (like that f***ing matters). Those dipshits also think Pillar is the new Trout and scoff at the notion that he will regress to his career norms. Blair thinks Pillar should stay in the 2 hole even when JD returns. That s*** is f***ing unbearable. I was almost happy to see Pillar K 4 times today in the 2 hole.

    I saw that. Madden went on a rant today about how he didn't think the pirates would retaliate bc it was a clean play. He said some obnoxious things.

    Was it Ang who was suggesting that Jose Ramirez is on PED's and will be the next one caught? I remember reading something like that on here. Well apparently those rumors have hit the majors, with a report out that Jose will be the next person to receive an 80 game suspension. Ramirez/Cleveland obviously is denying this. Grab your popcorn.

    So the players did f*** up by not accepting a salary cap? That's interesting (this side of baseball bores me, so I don't follow it). The PA is going to get roasted by the general public if they cause a work shortage to bitch that they aren't getting paid enough. Whether it's right or not, they may challenge the Ontario Teachers (and politicians) as the least respected profession in our province.

    It's kind of odd to look at the Cubs Fangraphs page and see that Schwarber's a positive defender, while Baez is a negative defender. I remember the circus that was Schwarber in LF on opening day...but since then, I haven't heard much at all about his defense (which tells me it's been adequate). What a turn around that guys made.

    Rizzo just blew up the pirates catcher with a take out slide at home - causing him to throw wild and allow 2 runners to score. I so thought we were past that ********, but the announcers seem to think it was a great slide. A real baseball play.

    When does the conversation start re: whether Sanchez remains a starter, or is moved back to the pen? His last 90 innings as a starter have been consistently bad and closely resemble the 66 innings as a starter in 2015. There will be lots that claim the time lost last season set him back and he needs more innings to regain his 2016 form (f*** I sound just like Buck & Tabby there). I think he gets another 80-90 innings before people really start questioning if 2016 was a mirage (which it probably was).

    You like listening to him make up stories about what players are talking about in the dugout? I guess some prefer fictional stories while others like non-fiction. Buck Martinez completely ruins the TV experience for me. I hate that Roger's caters to the 50+ crowd.
