I wonder how peoples opinions would change on how this off-season was going so far if the fangraphs projections projected the same stats as our offensive players actual 2023 stats.
Would they still honor the projections as they currently do? Would they have conviction to say “f that, they are way off?”
Or just , u know, roll with the joke. I actually know 2 American , Caucasian Martinez
Now it’s told we are interested in a German. More whiteness, not surprising
I’m the low guy prob on Chapman. All depending on budget of course which we can only speculate. I just came across this :
Matheson predicted that for the Blue Jays to be able to sign Chapman, the contract would need to be "below public projections." That is the only way the Blue Jays would be comfortable with spending the money to bring him back.
Despite being “full” I’m sure all teams have a few players at the end of the roster that they will not cry over losing.
Or is it time to expand? Join the bandwagon and get a team in Vegas.
I was really just saying a replication of the semien situation or similar situations over the past years. I mean move the numbers to 17 to spend and one gets 1/23 if that floats your boat. The exact numbers weren’t the point of the post really.
That said, you both mentioned bellinger. Whats the lowest Chapman gets
For one year if market disagrees on his worth on a multi year deal?
