  1. Crylian strikes again! Debbie Downer farts rainbows compared to you.
  2. Like if we have 14m to spend and chap or bellinger strike out and settle for 1/20. How would you feel about trading yimi and improving the team by signing one of them to 1/20?
  3. Better or worse d than Kent?
  4. The museum makes close to 1.2m a month, I think it is doing ok.
  5. Helton and mauer are just misses for me. Wagner as well. And a jones. Beltre Career looks PED user to me but never caught. Nor was big papi til The end
  6. Admitted to cream or clear. Also threw balls away in MIL in attempt to get traded
  7. Helton retired 11 years ago
  8. Ha. He looks exhausted to me as well. Granted no context
  9. I wasn’t referring to just you, sorry to make it seem that way. I think if vlad and Bo walk as free agents, The world will keep on spinning. We’ll be ok. Vlad and his 25m salary especially
  10. Maybe they get solar for 15 and Chapman for 20 going into the next tax bracket by 9m which at the 30pct fee on overage is a total of around 3m tax hit on it? Or, as I thought u meant it, make a bellinger signing for like 23aav (under your 26.7 figure) and don’t sign a dh as now you have 4 outfielders. Vlad could dh a bit more instead of sucking at 1b for example.
  11. What if you trade Garcia and espinal, sign bellinger/chapman and win the World Series? Is that a bad move? What if you don’t win the World Series but it increases ticket sales as well as secures playoff games netting more money, is it still an overpay?
  12. I’d like to know what the windows of contention are for yanks, sox, rays and orioles. Or is it only us that have a defined one that keeps being used as gospel?
  13. All depends on how tight money is. If 6m is truly needed to be freed up to make a move , then Garcia should be moved imo. If not needed to make a deal happen, I’m more than fine with bringing him back next year.
  14. I believe I brought this up Friday actually and it was too hard of a concept for Spankme To comprehend. Really hard to not allow a vesting option though as the deal is made in good faith. See Thomas, Frank. Yimi was a good soldier and deserves it. Would be an awful look for future free agents as well. I’ve been for freeing up 9m by moving yimi and espinal all offseason and I like both players but I feel We have the pieces to replace them sufficiently.
  15. I’m hoping enough for a dh and an OF to play vs lefties. I’ve talked myself into being ok to start season with platoon at 3b (biggio/ikf) and 2b (Schneider/espinal)
  16. I also remember him getting his tits ripped many times in the past 2 Years hence his 5 era over that time. I liked him as a cheap 2nd lefty (reverse splits). If Cabrera can repeat, Richards prob gets moved at some point. When he is on, he is fun to watch. When off, he is unplayable unless down a ton. I’d keep him for now.
  17. You are forgetting the 25m or so in benefits or whatever else in addition to payroll that counts toward the payroll figure
  18. 54, stop with micromanaging the details
  19. Sure but besides that …
  20. I think we’ll end up going into 2nd tax penalty this season. Otherwise I don’t think we give 10.5 to green and 7.5 to IKF
  21. Similar plan for the Cuban?
  22. They did? Why? Didn’t he end on a massive heater? My buddy got his hr ball when we went to a weekend series in Pitt in september
  23. I also now wonder about his start in A ball where he gave up 9 runs or so in an inning. Was that a FU to the jays given what we know now? I can’t rule it out
