    I agree but the majority of these guys are more guys that you don’t really set aside positions for. More like guys you keep hungry and they force their way into starting roles. For the aaa guys, at least they just keep hitting and provides hope that it can continue but most have significant warts hence not being top prospects. For 8 years we just haven’t really been accustomed to have possible, realistic options for mlb in aaa.

    I see us having 29m to spend next year if we keep same payroll as we currently have. (This number reflects the free agents being replaced internally as well as factoring in arby raises) Best I see is Alex bregman. Following offseason 103m to spend but need to replace vlad, Bo, bassitt and romano mainly with rest being replaced internally

    I never liked the pick but they liked kloffenstein alot and needed money for him. He did have a good year last year tho. Cost of doing business but I would have liked to see kloff and Robberse in aaa this year for us We have quite a drop off in a sp after Dragon.

    Which ones of Schneider and the aaa guys do you believe in to be starters on a good team, ones that will be good enough to be starters on a mediocre or bad team, which ones as one side of a platoon, or which ones will be bench or nothing

    Still risk in team not playing well enough to be in position to be buyers at the deadline though. Wouldn’t be the first time Atkins tried to play it too cute. Maybe remaining too players are deemed to be too expensive or cost too much in a trade while the lower tiered remaining players are deemed to be marginal upgrades on our options. In that case maybe the thought is to save 8m now and get a 16m dollar rental at the all star break and have more impact. I don’t think it’s a situation where Atkins is in love with our aaa prospects and is willing to ride or die with them but I could be wrong.

    Listen C-poop it’s all part of the plan to bring down Chapman’s asking price. First it’s IKF, then keeping all aaa guys with 3b experience. Keeping espinal around. Now it’s rumored about urshela. If that don’t work , we’ll sign Longoria and just simply cut him or bench him after getting Chapman at our price point . REKT LOL
