I always thought Kevin Long was pretty good. He kinda f***ed up Teixeira's swing but he polished up like everyone else's imo. Hes with the Mets now and they are doing pretty well offensively. Also while still on the subject i know Davey Lopes is the best 1B coach. hes with the dodgers now.

I'd like to fire Luis Rivera I think. Even when he makes the right call it doesn't work out. I dunno if he walks under a ladder through the dugout each game but I have never seen anything like this.

thing is even when he is floating around the 3pt line all game he passes up a lot of those open 3 pointers. it vexes me greatly. its really the only thing that annoys me about him because he is a solid all around player (just not as solid as luol deng *derp*). i just hope we dont need him to defend joe johnson again lol. what a clusterf*** he gave us that year.

Deng even had a higher ORtg and lower DRtg in both the regular season and playoffs. using advanced stats Deng is better in literally every single metric. and watching and knowing basketball he is also better in every scouting and eye test. game, set, match?

Carroll's been inconsistent so its tough. The real problem is whoever Carroll/Powell is not covering is going to run rampant over DeRozan and Coach Casey never really plays Carroll + Powell together. Dengs head and shoulders better than PatPat. Dengs also absolutely killing it in the playoffs so far. No contest there really.

Campbell was the worst play by play guy. Definitely worse than Faulds in that regard. I guess Campbell's fine in the role he has now because its easy to ignore him and Zaun whenever I see them coming.

i dont care what masai says. if we lose game 7 casey should be gone. plus a vote of confidence from the gm in public almost always means the opposite in private. this team is so garbage in the 2nd half of games, and even worse right in the 3rd quarter. i feel like that is the easiest trait to show that a coach is bad. after the break u go into the half and make adjustments. sounds pretty f***ing simple to me. i dunno if casey simply ignores that or if his adjustments are s*** but either way this is a huge trend. we have coughed up leads in 3Q all season long. we could make it up with hot shot shooting in 4Q in the regular season but that is out the window now. demar is flopping around worse than a catfish on the dock and lowry's got a broken wing. game started off so friggin well too. f***ing f***in f***.

i feel like we could beat charlotte easier than miami. miami has been here a thousand time already so they wont blow it, they wont make mistakes, and they have some nice depth so even if u shut down a guy like wade others can step up easily. charlotte is a relative newcomer so they will be more prone to mistakes. plus i feel like if u can shut down kemba (tall order i know) then its not as easy for the rest to step up. they both play very nice defense though. night and day compared to indiana anyways. i like our chances next round if we can pull off this win in game 6 though. winning a clinching game in a hostile environment like that would be a nice stepping stone.

i'm not a big fan of his coaching style but how bad is Karl really? he's had to deal with teams built around Carmelo and Cousins. those 2 arent leading any teams anywhere but he had at least some success with denver. i think he gets a bad rap. yeah i can agree about walton. hes gonna be the guy everyone wants this offseason though, justified or not. those were just some of the names off the top of my head. i know theres others i glossed over. i'd probably prefer we go the ncaa route honestly because thats really the best place where u can find a true difference maker. i'd love a guy like Shaka Smart. hes pretty young but i think he has that 'it' factor.

sheesh i hope we dont keep casey if we lose again. how many years can we spin the tires like that? and its not like we have ever won games with our defence despite him being a defense first coach. we blow so many leads after half time in the 3Q and its always lowrys hot shooting that bails us out. luke waltons gotta be a hot name as far as a HC candidate goes. could always poach a SA guy aswell. Van Gundy always flirting with returning to the NBA. George Karl maybe? he was set up to fail in SAC from day 1 so i cant really hold this year against him. 4 TOs in the first 4 minutes tonight *ugh*

dude anyone would take a title with casey. we'd all take a title with any jackass as head coach. i have no delusions about a title shot with this roster though. i'm talking round1 here and now. he loses round1 again he most certainly loses his job. he finally gets past round1 then i'd say its 66/33 he stays on. thats the conundrum, not a friggin title lol.
