    I feel like our team cannot win this series, but Indiana can lose it (if you get what I mean). We won game 3 handsomely because Indiana made so many silly stupid mistakes. Game 4 they cut out that ******** again and it was us who played silly and stupid. I feel like if we win it is mostly due to luck honestly because outside of the key bench guys and Jonas I just don't see that effectiveness coming from anywhere else. Carroll now D-ing up George is nice now though. Can include him in the positives. I honestly don't know what is better for the franchise now though. Losing and finally dumping Casey or winning and being stuck with him for the foreseeable future. Its a conundrum.

    this guy gets it. i, personally, enjoy hockey more when its played in a die hard sunbelt locale like arizona too. nothing better than that. baseball is only a flash in the pan in canada anyways. we all know it deep down.

    its stuff like this that makes me feel even better about having Shanny run things for the leafs. kinda sucks for the entire game itself that he's only working for the leafs now though. could help out a lot more if he was still in the NHL head office. i don't know who cold take his place either. bettman is probably just gonna let this die down even though this is a YUGE opportunity for him and his legacy*. *i use the term legacy loosely since he is quite possible the worst commissioner in any sport ever. Goodell's coming on strong but he doesnt have the experience necessary yet. Plus Bettmans probably got many more lockouts left in him. when in doubt, lock 'em out

    NEW LEGIT GUY: Ryan Borucki NEW LEGIT GUY Runner Up: Andy Burns (I am hoping Borucki clicks this year. The further away from injuries the more hopeful I get. I've always liked Burns. I am glad he looked good in ST. I think he uses that as a catalyst. I dunno if he can turn into our version of Matt Duffy (SF) but I'd like to think he could do something like it.) SLEEPER: Hansel Rodriguez SLEEPER Runner Up: Kelyn Jose (I really love Hansel. I thought about putting him as a Legit Guy but Borucki & Burns fit better there. He's got -it- though. Same thing with Kelyn Jose just not as confident. These two really sound like good ones for the future. Could jump a lot.) BUST: Jon Harris BUST Runner Up: Max Pentecost (I figured a true bust had to come from the top 8-9 guys because the tier drop after them is huge. These 2 just stood out the most.)

    lol so true. probably depends on who we play first though. got home games vs red sox first so my money is on farrell. hopefully we dont get another johnny damon running into the fancy new scoreboard-type incident.

    powell still does a lot of boneheaded things but hes a rook so its natural. still gotta cut it out with all the unforced turnovers though. his decision making can be bad but again that seems like its just growing pains. seems like his only weaknesses right now are those generic types. kid looks good.

    okc played us really well defensively. they forced a ton of outside shots to guys like powell and james johnson types. pretty much exactly what you want. then on offense the absolutely killed us on the fast break. even when they werent getting traditional fast breaks they always had good positioning from always being ahead of the defense. it was frustrating as hell to keep watching again and again.

    The Jays are not gonna want to do that with all the off days early on. Teams are actually more likely to run a 4 man rotation early on in the season because of all the off days.

    she wasnt that great. most of what i remember from that show was the chubby ginger gambler named Cam talking about lines and parlays and which golfers are going to win some meaningless event i dont care about seated next to her. she always had the same face. an uglier, more painted up version of rachel starr's face.

    I very much agree with this. She lathers on the makeup like a painter just to look mediocre basically. She also comes of as very fashionable and superficial fwiw lol.

    yeah i agree with that. there are smarter ways to spend their resources. plus they already got A-Rod so no need for another DH type. funny that someone glossed over it like "its only $21m" earlier.

    they still do sign the old timers, but they do it in waves every 3 years (or so) now as opposed to the constant stream every year. if they got money available they will spend it, and as the guy above me pointed out they are gonna have a lot of money available next year.
