    They've already been preparing for grass for 2018 season (which is the earliest they can when Argos leave town) and Adam Lind isn't exactly a prime physical specimen to which we can blame trainers for. He probably gets backaches mowing the lawn.

    So I missed the game and watching the highlights I'm wondering why Gibby pulled Hutch after 8.2? He's done this before this season, Buerhle comes to mind. Was Hutch's pitch count that high? Was he tired? Paranoid he might give up a 2 run shot and ruin his great night? Hutch seemed pissed off on the highlights, probably just mad at himself for his 1 walk but still.

    With Valencia / Lawrie here I'd say Tolleson is the odd man out over anyone at the moment. Goins was hitting pretty well prior to the Houston series and his infield D is the best the Jays have. I'd keep Goins at 2B and Lawrie at 3B vs RHP (francisco DH) and Lawrie at 2B Valencia at 3B vs LHP (Reimold DH). Kawasaki rides the pine.
