    I'm baffled why Stroman isn't pitching. Going to waste up to 3 BP arms when your starter had 76 pitches thrown with a 5 run lead. Stroman could have gone 8.

    There's also a < 10% chance of any top of the rotation arm signing in TO as a free agent at anytime in the foreseeable future. Moving him to the pen and being a dominant reliever will always be an option but switching him back to starter will not.

    In a couple of years from now would you rather a legit #2 starter or a legit closer?

    I'll take my chances with a guy who has upside to be an above average starter over forcing him to be a reliever any day. Most relievers are just failed starters, there's a reason for that.

    Perhaps but if a starter is averaging 160IP over a full healthy season they are probably doing less than 5 IP / game on average. #notawesome
